Yates Basketball Coach rubs off on Silsbee Girls' Golf Team????

I see where the 21-3A Girls Golf  Individual Medalist (B. McDonald) won by 39 strokes over the 2nd place individual.

39 strokes? Surely her coach should have instructed her to play blindfolded or play with only a putter and a 9 iron, to keep from demoralizing the other girls. (But that wouldn't have been the "WISE" thing to do)  ;D

Seriously congrats to all of the competitors.

Golf is game of determination, muscle memory, and triumph.  For her to let up would have been counterproductive to all of her YEARS of preparation.  What's next? Should she only compete with men?

Its a slow day, the Astros are aleady down 3-0, and I'm just bored.

I think its great that she probably would have been one of the top finishers for the boys.
All in fun.

(But I still think the Yates situation is over the top in classlessness)
