KFDM COOP Posted September 29, 2006 Report Share Posted September 29, 2006 WOS was the smallest 4A School in the State that year. Ennis had a great team but WOS almost came back and won the title. Gasilla Posted September 29, 2006 Report Share Posted September 29, 2006 We were absolutely NOT ready for the spread offense. We had seen it in games. Practiced against it, but nothing could prepare us for facing a team with the talent Ennis had running the spread to perfection. We have since become much better at defensing it. That was the first time we had actually played anyone who ran it and we experienced the same problems that LaMarque did when they ran into Stephenville.
