Kevnasty, the scoreboard and integrity are all that counts, and Kirbyville won in both of those areas. Now, go practice for basketball instead of spewing ignorance.

Kirbyville dominated last night. Were it not for the early turnovers, they may have been up by three touchdowns at half. Arp has a great young quarterback who completed his first 9 passes. He and #2(receiver) kept them in the game but Kville shut him down in the second half. Despite one comment above, t was not nearly as close as the scoreboard. I didn't expect Kville to dominate like they did.
As for Daingerfield. They are the real deal. Does Newton have a chance? Sure. They're Newton and they will give Daingerfield all it can handle but, until Newton can beat them, Dfield has to be considered the favorite.

Mr. Nasty, ARP is overrated. CLEARLY. They were ranked 1st in state and got beat by the team that was ranked 11th.  :D

Arp was beat when they stepped on that field. They couldn't handle the WILDCATS man. Not last night.. not next friday.. not last year.. ARP just couldn't handle the KIRBYVILLE WILDCATS.

My hopes are high for Newton. I hope they put a whooping on Dangerfield. That way you Arp & Dangerfield kiddos can see what 22 AA is all about!

P.S. Arp's number 7.. you know the "real deal", yeah he shouldn't even be named in the same sentence as K-ville's Fred Ford. Fred sucked him up last night..

kevnasty is a dangerfield fan.....another one who only says something nice to you if you can produce proof of residency in or around the daingerfield area..poor mis-guided child :o..Bad Moon Rising for daingerfield...Newton is on the way...And by the way...Arp played a good ball game, and Kville even gave them some gifts, and they still couldn't do it...when you get held 8 downs on the 1 yd line and can't score,it's time to call off the dogs, the hunt's over my friend...Kville's D dominated Arp.. and Ford embarrased them..that's just the way it is...it's time for your evening worhip services of the tiggers you best be running..... ;D ;D

[/quote]NOT TRUE AT ALL. and K Ville got penalized on both drives by the end zone moving the ball too the 1/2 yard line and ARP could still not push K Ville line too score. PS arp cant jump. thats really all you would have done too score. K Ville was way too much for arp

I'm still waiting for "Arptiger" to speak up, he was the one spewing the most trash talk about Kirbyville last week, and we haven't heard from him. Arptiger, don't you want to man-up and admit you were wrong? Maybe apologize, or maybe even wish Kirbyville luck through the rest of the playoffs?

Well said JasperDawgs...Kville was pulling for ya'll also in the play-offs...Great season for the Dawgs...thanks for the props...

The truth of the matter is that Arp scored sometime in the 4th quarter to get within a touchdown of winning 21-15. All they had to do was stop Kirbyville and score again. But the Wildcats ran it right down their throats in a drive that was a thing of beauty. After about two plays in that drive you knew that Arp's D wasn't up to the task. There was no doubt Kirbyville was the better team. Just an opinion from a Jasper fan on the sideline.  ;)

Man that drive was awesome, who is #72 for Kirbyville? What grade is he in? Awesome display by this young man throughout the game, but especially on this drive. Pancakes and domination of the dline for Arp.

And looking ahead.. His brother played Pee Wee Football this year and they had to get equipment from the High School to fit him! The tradition continues!

He is a man-child!  Comfort DE's and DL will meet him soon enough.  High motor with great intangibles!

    • We'll see. I don't trust us.
    • Starting pitching has been shaky the last few weeks due to some injuries outside of Hagen Smith.  He goes tomorrow, so y’all should be fine
    • Manchin may get it but any mention of the radical left that wanted to get rid of the filibuster and end almost 220 years of history because the Democrats are mad?  The House and Senate are obviously different legislative bodies with entirely different election processes and rules for a reason. The House can vote on laws with a simple majority vote. The Senate put rules in place that it would make it much tougher to pass laws. Laws should be difficult to pass. The Senate is often the holdup of the right and left. It takes 60 votes to break the filibuster so any law will almost certainly require agreement at least in part, from opposing sides of an issue. Because they can’t get laws passed, the radical left is like a baby having a tantrum and wants to change over 200 years of history and make it potentially ridiculously easy to pass laws. I have seen current poll maps and it is possible for the Republicans to sweep into complete power in November but by the tiniest margin. That would possibly mean that a single vote margin in both houses could enact what you might call the radical right laws. There would be nothing that the Democrats could do to stop any legislation whatsoever if the left (they are all radical, minus Manchin) got their filibuster rule changed.  That is where the current filibuster comes into play as any new law would require several Democrats to agree with the majority Republicans and vice versa.  Do you want the potential for your radical right to have free rein as the radical left wants by killing the filibuster or is the radical left just as (if not more) dangerous? Let’s see if we have a history in this area? Oh yeah, the Democrats changed the rules in the Senate to allow federal judges to not have to overcome the filibuster. Obama was not getting his federal judge nominations passed and being angry, they changed the rules instead of nominating more moderate justices. They were warned that it would come back to bite them. They didn’t care and chose the nuclear option to change the rules. Oops! Any guess how Trump got all of his Supreme Court nominees passed against strong Democrat opposition? The Democrats got rid of the filibuster for federal judges after another tantrum   So when you are so worried about the radical right, are you equally concerned in what the radical left is always doing by changing rules and history which were put into place just for situations like we are in? So while Manchin gets it, what about his other 50 colleagues (49 + Harris)?  What concerns you more, Abbott and Paxton or the Democrats who want to make it to where if the Republicans do take over, they can go wild… at least in your mind?
    • MODS please remove that ISD twitter link! I had no idea it would copy the whole posting. I only highlighted the portion about the venue change. Sorry about that!
