*Hardin vs. Anahuac/Anahuac wins 55-0/comments

Bushpilot-

weren't you on here all week talking about how you were going to beat Anahuac?  And now that the game is over you are saying that Haynes was not playing Villamez because "Hardin was obviously overmatched"!  Which is it?  Are we to assume that you never thought Hardin was going to win, you were just talking to hear yourself talk?

Show me a post where I ever said Hardin would win! I said, and I quote, "If we play a perfect game and don't make mistakes then maybe we can keep it close". Do I need to talk slower for you, maybe write in crayons? I also have been very congratulatory torwards Anahuac. Only negative comments I used were in response to negative comments about Hardins weak schedule.

I vote they let him stay around. There is a certain entertainment value in his posts. He's not the brightest crayon in the box and I'm sure most Hardin folks are somewhat embarrassed by him, but he is the definition of what a 'homer' is. (In more ways than one)

I Know, I know...

Before you respond, I'm an idiot, moron, stupid, retarded and you're hitting on my wife.

yeah we got whooped by a very talented anahuac team but Villemez didn't play much because if we lose to EC then we meet newton in the second round which no one wants so why re injure him where he can't play against EC?

Wow! Hardin conceded a district game! I have to wonder: A) are the other Hardin players expendable? and B) how many coaches would do a thing like that?? Mindboggling!  :o

I think a team from Buna will give the Hornets fits if Hardin does lose to EC.  I'd worry about making the playoffs at this point versus a first round match-up that might not happen!  I don't know why Hardin's best player didn't play much, game got out of hand quick so that could be the reason - but the Hornets were just outmatched by far better athletes/talent.  If Villemez had played the entire game I still don't see Hardin scoring more than twice.  (ie: 55-12)

I hear some Cougars waking up in the distance, hunting for a playoff spot!  ;)

Pantherplaya09 is back, yeah, hey how is your Liberty team doing? LOL! Still working on that playoff run you guaranteed? LOL! Oh, and uknowit, you still won't tell us your team, what are you scared of? You're the quickest to post more negative comments towards Hardin than anyone, yet you hide.

Cowboy your an idiot. Hardin has made the playoffs the last two yrs and just because hardin got beat lastnight you want to say 7 on 7 doesn't translate to 11 on 11 football. It was one game it happens.

Just merely referring to the 7-on-7 Regional Qualifying Tournament in Anahuac in May.  There were a lot of people from Hardin saying they were going to repeat the results of that game to this season.  We all know how that ended.  Do I need to say it again...If you are going to call me an idiot, then use proper grammar.  You need to bring your "A" game if you plan on slamming me.  Anahuac had it; what about you?

Played a good Splendora team into OT. lost by a field goal.

Played a ranked Cleveland team...did pretty well I think. If you ever wanna watch a real coach and team combo head on over to Memorial stadium....wait, did you go to Anahauc friday? I heard theyre pretty good?...

Anyways, since you cant ever argue with facts and against past posts....

I've got you all figured out bushpilot, Im great with stereotypes. Here it goes, your about 50, just learned how to type. You probably watch Hardin practices from your 67 Ford truck thinking about back in the day when you sat on the bench in high school. I get it, your upset.

Hardin will come back and play good ball - Coach Haynes is too good of a coach to let this ruin their season.

Saying that Hardin better worry about making the playoffs before they worry who they might face in the 2nd round.  Buna and East Chambers have their sights set on the Hardin team.  I think that Hardin will make the playoffs but they had better be prepared to play these two games.  I do not think they were fully prepared for the Anahuac team.

so kirbyville watch out... i watched an impressive anahuac team play friday.. i never doubted them.. but i did figure the hornets would put points on the board.. and about the mitch thing.. anahuac was gonna be hard to beat no matter what.. so dont play mitch as much and keep him for teams that you know for sure your beating with him... whether he played this game or not AP wins... so save him.. keep his ankle healthy for east chambers next week there is still a chance for playoffs.. but congrats anahuac.. im probably coming to watch that kville game.. and then the next round...

Anahuac was the way better team. They faster. Stronger. And bigger they will give kirbyv a run for there money.

Idk about them given Kville a run for there money.... Anahuac is a good team but in a district that is fairly weak...Kville would win by 3 or 4 tds.

Anahuac has a pretty good team, but who have they played???. Kirbyville has played much stronger competition than Anahuac and it will show when they meet in the second round. If they thought Kirbyville defense hit 'em in the mouth last year wait until we play this year. Good Luck!

Enough about the schedule already, how 'bout some dang praise for routing the Hornets!  If you had the chance to observe what's going on out on the field you would see that Anahuac is simply executing and winning the battle at the line - offense and defense.  We all know that K'ville will be tough to beat, but there's no doubt our chances are better this year than last year.  The Wildcats just don't have the same swagger about them and the Panthers are much improved.  Time will tell!

    • We'll see. I don't trust us.
    • Starting pitching has been shaky the last few weeks due to some injuries outside of Hagen Smith.  He goes tomorrow, so y’all should be fine
    • Manchin may get it but any mention of the radical left that wanted to get rid of the filibuster and end almost 220 years of history because the Democrats are mad?  The House and Senate are obviously different legislative bodies with entirely different election processes and rules for a reason. The House can vote on laws with a simple majority vote. The Senate put rules in place that it would make it much tougher to pass laws. Laws should be difficult to pass. The Senate is often the holdup of the right and left. It takes 60 votes to break the filibuster so any law will almost certainly require agreement at least in part, from opposing sides of an issue. Because they can’t get laws passed, the radical left is like a baby having a tantrum and wants to change over 200 years of history and make it potentially ridiculously easy to pass laws. I have seen current poll maps and it is possible for the Republicans to sweep into complete power in November but by the tiniest margin. That would possibly mean that a single vote margin in both houses could enact what you might call the radical right laws. There would be nothing that the Democrats could do to stop any legislation whatsoever if the left (they are all radical, minus Manchin) got their filibuster rule changed.  That is where the current filibuster comes into play as any new law would require several Democrats to agree with the majority Republicans and vice versa.  Do you want the potential for your radical right to have free rein as the radical left wants by killing the filibuster or is the radical left just as (if not more) dangerous? Let’s see if we have a history in this area? Oh yeah, the Democrats changed the rules in the Senate to allow federal judges to not have to overcome the filibuster. Obama was not getting his federal judge nominations passed and being angry, they changed the rules instead of nominating more moderate justices. They were warned that it would come back to bite them. They didn’t care and chose the nuclear option to change the rules. Oops! Any guess how Trump got all of his Supreme Court nominees passed against strong Democrat opposition? The Democrats got rid of the filibuster for federal judges after another tantrum   So when you are so worried about the radical right, are you equally concerned in what the radical left is always doing by changing rules and history which were put into place just for situations like we are in? So while Manchin gets it, what about his other 50 colleagues (49 + Harris)?  What concerns you more, Abbott and Paxton or the Democrats who want to make it to where if the Republicans do take over, they can go wild… at least in your mind?
    • MODS please remove that ISD twitter link! I had no idea it would copy the whole posting. I only highlighted the portion about the venue change. Sorry about that!
