SE Texans DeLome, Strait to play in Texas League All-Star Game

How Collin DeLome ends the season will carry far more weight than how it began.

For now, however, the former Buna and Lamar University baseball standout is happy for his latest professional achievement.

DeLome, a prospect in the Houston Astros organization, is among two Southeast Texans in the Double-A Texas League all-star game. The other is former Hardin-Jefferson standout Cody Strait, now in the Kansas City Royals organization.

i'm glad to see Cody do well.  i graduated with him, and he's a good guy.  hopefully he can have a great second half and work his way up.
