Guest coachacola Posted May 30, 2009 Report Posted May 30, 2009 Roccaforte, by the way, continues to keep the wraps on his latest recruiting class because a couple of his junior college signees must complete course work this summer. He says he won’t reveal any names until all players are signed, sealed and delivered. Based on some Internet snooping, and a couple of inside sources, I’ve been able to determine small ball is out for the Cardinals. As best I can determine without confirmation, and if the players in question make their grades, LU is going to have eight guys 6-6 or taller and five who go at least 6-9. Kenny Dawkins’ likely replacement at point guard is 6-1. I think LU will have 5 guys 6-8 or taller with Custer, Nwevo, Ebomwonyi, Brown, and Wesley, plus 6-6 Nabors and Hall. 6-1 point guard? Muandumba, Garza, and Harris are all about 5-11. Maybe there's someone else. Why does Roc have to wait until all are signed? If a couple of the JUCOs have to complete course work this summer then we won't know until July or August!! http://www.panews.com/sportsbobwest/local_story_150210959.html?keyword=topstory

Guessing his whole signing class for the spring is JUCOs (as they typically are for most schools) and if you announce before you sign, that's not looked highly upon in the eyes of the NCAA.
Guest mffl Posted May 31, 2009 Report Posted May 31, 2009 Looks like we have a good mix of players... hopefully we can get it done this season!
