AggiesAreWe
Silsbee's Jeremy Johnson won the long jump with a leap of '23 "10. That's a foot longer than he jumped at the district meet. WOS's James Haynes was second. WOS's Trey Franks did not qualify for state in the long or triple jump. I am trying to get all the results from yesterday's field events and get the results from todays running finals. Neither has been posted on the host site. AggiesAreWe
Dang, what happened? You only get one false in the running finals. It is ashame. They most likley would have finished 2nd behind the Mustangs and would have advanced to state.

They most likley would have finished 2nd behind the Mustangs and would have advanced to state. You only get one false start in the prelims or finals. That's how it is in high school track. Most likely to have finished 2nd would have been Taylor (who had the fastest district time in region 3) not Silsbee. Is there any results on anyone besides WOS. How did BC do in the 800? Both Silsbee and WOS chose not to run their fastest relay team in the district meet. Those times were not their fastest. Silsbee's fastest runner did not run at district. Both Silsbee and WOS had recorded faster times earlier in the season with their faster relay teams. In the prelims yesterday, WOS and Silsbee finished 1st and 2nd.
