Guest coachacola Posted February 5, 2009 Report Posted February 5, 2009 Four players from Texas and one from Arkansas make up the initial group of signees, which is expected to double in the next few weeks. Lexi Gebhardt, Meghan Huggins, Katelyn Ross, Michelle Sladaritz and Sadie Wright will bring speed and athleticism to the third-year program. "This is definitely our biggest, strongest and deepest class," Hardman said. "I have only had one and the school had only had one before my arrival, but this group has the potential to make a strong impact with our program. http://lamarcardinals.cstv.com/sports/w-soccer/spec-rel/020509aaa.html

bullets13 Posted February 7, 2009 Report Posted February 7, 2009 This should be the year this program is more competitive in conference. i don't know anything about the other girls, but sladaritz is an explosive scorer, which they badly need, especially until they can get a little more balance of talent throughout their lineup. if they improve as much between their 2nd and 3rd season as they did between their 1st and 2nd, they might have a shot at making the conference tourney.
