There are some great coaches on that list...Word around the cooler is that Shipley is getting the job.

Here's some more talk...Shipley's first hire would be Coach McCoy from Graham...Brownwood would then have Colt's younger brother throwing passes to Jordan's little brother...That would be something else the commentators would bring up constantly....

Brownwood ISD has narrowed a list of 88 applicants to two finalists for its head football coach and athletics director position.

Class 2A Brady head coach Glen Jones and Class 5A Coppell head coach Bob Shipley, were two of eight applicants interviewed this past week.

Just talked to my brother who is in admin at Brownwood.  Shipley have final interview this week along with Jones.  Then the decision will be made.
