AWESOME PIC Future of Bronco FB

Recommended Posts

Hate to say this for future Dayton Bronco competition, but the talent keeps on coming up through the Dayton junior high.  Tuesday night the Dayton 8th grade Ponies beat the previously unbeaten Barbers Hill Eagles.

The highlight of the game was a Dayton Pony hurdling a would be Eagle tackler.

This group of 8th graders might possibly be the BEST group of talented athletes YET that Stewart has had during his tenure at Dayton.  There are up to five athletes with break away speed and there is depth and size along the trenches.  Can't wait to see these Ponies turn into Broncos over the next few years.

You could be right about the most talented group. Curious to see how many if any make it up to the varsity nest year or if they keep them all together. Great year Ponies can't wait to watch you over they next couple of years.

probaly are good young talent on this team but that does not always mean sucess  on next level good luck

It has for Dayton...

This current group of juniors and seniors never lost a game in junior high.

Coach Stewart has done an excellent job with the athletes here in Dayton, not just in the high school, but also the junior high.

It is simply amazing that the talent level keeps on pouring in.

This group of 8th graders has so much speed and size it is an AWEsome thought of thinking how they will fit into the current offensive and defensive schemes used by varsity.

This wouldn't have happened if Barbers Hill had the same 2 coaches they had last year.

End of Story.

Dayton is very lucky in this regard.

We have had the same junior high head coach for years.

The assistants have changed, but having the same coach over the junior high for over a decade is huge.

He (Coach Wilson) excels in turning Ponies into Broncos!

If those coaches were so successful then why did they leave????

I think they are coaching this year's 7th grade bunch...

Sounds like they want them to coach the 8th grade bunch.  From the looks of it Eagles2013 is one of the 8th graders anyway!!!

let's not forget the new varsity players and what they have done being moved up after 5 def.players were dismissed from this years team for a altercation. The JV team also has been real good and Stewart a hawkeye for talent moved him to varsity status and he performed to the tune of 56 Yds.on 6 carries and he is a speedster also.Looks like Stewart's 13 year straight playoff years could be longer & weary for others.Dayton has been good for years but others had key players out of position.Had they had Stewart's guidance they may have already had a state championship.Rareley in my memories of 38 years has the Broncos had to come from behind to win a football game.I thought many a game strategy came right out of the local morning coffee spot downtown for years.Stewart would not have stood for that at all, even if it meant his job. Many a school would love to have a man with his credentials.
