Hull-Daisetta vs Colmesneil Predictions/Comments

Recommended Posts

Hull-Daisetta will play their first home game since late August. Hurricane Ike destroyed Bobcat stadium, forcing the Bobcats to play all of their games on the road. The Bobcats look forward to their home game saturday against Colmesneil. This will be HD's homecoming and will be standing room only. The game will start at 2:00pm on Saturday. Playing all their games on the road has been tuff for the cats. The cats only two loses came on the road, one of those a 3 hour trip to Tenaha(ranked in the top 10) and the other to Evadale AT WEST HARDIN STADIUM. Some think the Evadale game would have had a different outcome if played at Bobcat stadium like it was supposed to be. The Bobcats played terrible and stupid against Evadale. There should be some great football played next saturday at sinkhole stadium in Daisetta. GO BOBCATS !!!

HA!  I guess if the game had been played at Rebel stadium it would have been a real blow out for the Rebs!  80 yds rushing!  You're just flat out weird!!!  Enjoy second, or third!  There's a boat load of people in Evadale that wished that game had been at cat field.  AIN'T NOBODY SCARED NO MORE!!!    Now go ahead a hurl your insults, I know their coming.

First it is great that HD gets to play at home, nobody likes playing on the road. Nobody wanted anyone to have damage or to be forced to have to play at any time other than Friday nights under the lights. Glad you could at least move back to your place.

Just like against Chester I doubt that the cats will have much trouble with the dogs, but 55 the last part of your post was just WAC!

The Rebels were not home week before last either for our game with you and the Rebels luck at WH has not been too good. Oh and by the way EVERYONE in Evadale wished that the game had been at HD, seeing the final score on your scoreboard would have made the victory complete. Oh which part of HD's game would have been different if they played at home the terrible or the stupid part? (Your words not mine).

Location did not and would not have changed the outcome of that one!

Oh as long as you guys are having to do repairs your stadium how about doing everyone a favor and adding some lights to brighten the field up and replacing the lumber on the visiting stands I know too many people that have gotten splinters just from coming to watch a little football.

Just a thought!

    • Manchin may get it but any mention of the radical left that wanted to get rid of the filibuster and end almost 220 years of history because the Democrats are mad?  The House and Senate are obviously different legislative bodies with entirely different election processes and rules for a reason. The House can vote on laws with a simple majority vote. The Senate put rules in place that it would make it much tougher to pass laws. Laws should be difficult to pass. The Senate is often the holdup of the right and left. It takes 60 votes to break the filibuster so any law will almost certainly require agreement at least in part, from opposing sides of an issue. Because they can’t get laws passed, the radical left is like a baby having a tantrum and wants to change over 200 years of history and make it potentially ridiculously easy to pass laws. I have seen current poll maps and it is possible for the Republicans to sweep into complete power in November but by the tiniest margin. That would possibly mean that a single vote margin in both houses could enact what you might call the radical right laws. There would be nothing that the Democrats could do to stop any legislation whatsoever if the left (they are all radical, minus Manchin) got their filibuster rule changed.  That is where the current filibuster comes into play as any new law would require several Democrats to agree with the majority Republicans and vice versa.  Do you want the potential for your radical right to have free rein as the radical left wants by killing the filibuster or is the radical left just as (if not more) dangerous? Let’s see if we have a history in this area? Oh yeah, the Democrats changed the rules in the Senate to allow federal judges to not have to overcome the filibuster. Obama was not getting his federal judge nominations passed and being angry, they changed the rules instead of nominating more moderate justices. They were warned that it would come back to bite them. They didn’t care and chose the nuclear option to change the rules. Oops! Any guess how Trump got all of his Supreme Court nominees passed against strong Democrat opposition? The Democrats got rid of the filibuster for federal judges after another tantrum   So when you are so worried about the radical right, are you equally concerned in what the radical left is always doing by changing rules and history which were put into place just for situations like we are in? So while Manchin gets it, what about his other 50 colleagues (49 + Harris)?  What concerns you more, Abbott and Paxton or the Democrats who want to make it to where if the Republicans do take over, they can go wild… at least in your mind?
    • MODS please remove that ISD twitter link! I had no idea it would copy the whole posting. I only highlighted the portion about the venue change. Sorry about that!
    • See why I don't trust my Hogs?
    • Come on dude, don’t take anything away from the kids on the field. If you want to talk uncharacteristic, we made what 3 or 4 errors in game one. Y’all had 2 EARNED runs.  Defense is normally our strong suit. Your ace didn’t strike out a single one of our kids. Like I said also, you did not out hit us in game 1. Hell you barley out hit us in game 2. We had all the uncharacteristic walks. Josh pitched a hell of a game is what made that game what it was.
