I don't know if many people realize that the Pirates had 5 defensive starters injured for a better part of the second half. Every kid stepped up and played with great heart and the coaching staff did a tremendous job of making adjustments and moving other personell around to fill in for the injuries. Great win.  Getting pretty tired of hearing people slam the "stupid 50 defense" and the Pirate offense.  All of these coaches have been in this business for a while and know what they are doing, they are a very hard working group. Great team win, players and coaches!!
