Crystal Beach/ Port Bolivar ????????

Was wondering if anyone knows any info. about whats going on that area ???  We have seen about two or three pics on the internet, and looks to be a total devestation ???  There hasnt been any coverage for this area, and we are very concerned for our familys homes ???  We know that you cant get in or get out of that area. 

Any info would be greatly appreciated..  God Bless

i havent seen any pics of either area but my dad works in bmt and from what he heard crstal beach is literally washed away. he said almost every house is in the gulf. not sure bout how precise that is but like i said we havent seen any pics or tv coverage of it, just what we are hearing

Not much left, this is the area that took the brunt of the storm surge.

It sure makes you feel for natures power.

Not much can survive that much water rolling through.

The west side of Galveston should be oh so thankful the eye went to the east of them.

It the eye would have crossed over around Freeport, what happened in Crystal Beach would have been the west side of Galveston (45% of the tax base of that city).
