Aug. 29 @ Port Arthur Memorial - Win.  I think Memorial is a year from competing.  Maybe next year.

Sept. 5 @ Beaumont West Brook  - Loss.   We have a good defense coming, but will it be enough to stop Michaels and co.?  I don't think so.

Sept. 12 Galveston Ball - Win.  Old rivalry that our boys will rise to the challenge for.

Sept. 19 OPEN

Sept. 26 Vidor* - Win.  Even though Vidor plays us tough for the most part, our overall team speed will take this one.

Oct. 3 @ Little Cypress-Mauriceville* - Win.  No offense, but LC-M may be cellar dweller again.

Oct. 10 @ Lumberton* - Win.  Lumberton lost a lot of senior and our boys are embarrassed for losing last year.  This one may be ugly early.

Oct. 17 Nederland* - Loss.  This will be an old fashion shootout.  Whoever scores last. Our defense is will hit hard, but can we contain Bellows and Cardenas?

Oct. 24 @ Beaumont Ozen* (Alex Durley Stadium) - Win.  Ahh yes.  The Soul Bowl.  Ozen will have a good showing and real confidence in last year's win, but I don't think their passing game will be good.  Running the ball will put this game in our favor.

Oct. 31 Livingston* - Win.  Livingston was the beneficiary of a weak district and weak playoff road.  They will learn the hard way.

Nov. 7 @ Port Neches-Groves* - Win.  The Indians better mix that play calling up on offense to win this one.

8-2 overall

I've got y'all losing to WB and GBall and running through the district.  Nederland can't run nor stop the run.  Besides, the whole Ball coaching staff were there last night lol

They come all the way from Galveston to watch us scrimmage.  They waisted their time.  I think that Jag alumni will tell the kids about the last time we played them and we come fired up.

I think we lose to WB and Galveston Ball maybe one or two loses in district maybe 6-4. I hope I'm wrong though. Nederland and PN-G is always and uncertainty. Our defense will be good. We need to iron out some things on offense, too many flaws. Offense improvement, then 8-2 is possible.
Yea.  Thats why I said what I said.  I really do expect us to get it together on offense.

I'm curious, out of all the teams central played last year, why is the loss to lumberton so embarassing for you?

Because up until that Lumberton game, We have never lost to them.  We felt like we should have gotten them this time.  I didn't happen the way we wished, but our boys that played last hear remember that and will not let it happen.  You know, kindof how they Dayton fans feel about losing to yall.  That's how we feel.
