No Svoboda, Serna, Partain, or Bender from West Brook. All deserve some recognition. Serna and Partain batted in the high .300's/low .400's for the season and Svoboda was all district in a tough 21-5A district. Bender threw a No Hitter against LC Barbe. It seems a little strange that they are no even honorable mention

Nobody from WB gets on here to nominate kids.  Svobada was in  the top 3 or 4 pitchers this year.  Inever saw stats posted for these kids anywhere.

I want to say what a great group of young men that has been picked for this honor, I wish you all the best in your future. I would like to add one more young mans name to my list and that is Matthew McClelland ( Nobby) from the Kirbyville Wildcats. He came close to several no hitters this baseball season. One game that I will remember is WOS he pitched 9 innings WOS 2 , Kirbyville 1. Great Job Matthew McClelland!!  Good Luck at the All Star Game June 14, 2008 at Lamar Baseball Field.

is Baytown not considered SETX? i nominated the 2 baytown kids and you can throw a rock and hit baytown from barber's hill, their kids are on the list...just wondering...
