Lufkin @ La Porte

I’ll just call this the ‘Double LP Game.’ Directions, parking, etc. for the stadium are in the link. For those making the trip, “Welcome! Have a safe trip, and enjoy the hospitality & festivities in the town where Texas won her independence.”

Don’t miss the turn off into the stadium, or you could wind up in Galveston Bay in about 300 yards! 😂

This game could end up being a sleeper.

Texas won it's independence in Deer Park sir. Don't believe me just ask anyone from there!🤣

They never were very smart. If they were, they would have picked a different place to live. They've been trying to ride our coat tails forever.

Coach Abseck and Coach Berneathy have met 3 times. In Berneathy's first year back at LP (2022), the Dawgs beat Barbers Hill 34-27 in district play. In Berneathy's second year at LP (2023), the Dawgs won at Barbers Hill on the Eagle's Homecoming 34-29 in district play. This was the year LP played no home games as the new Bulldog was being built. LP actually played their home games at Eagle Stadium. LP was moved to 11-5AD1 in 2024, and the two met up in the Area round PO game which LP won 55-27.

This will be the 4th meeting between these two staffs.
