Hemphill girls were quick, feet & hands, and made their shots when they could get one. #30 and #33 heady players. Entire team has good shooting touch. Lady Eagles played agressive D and got lots of t/o's but couldn't convert, lots of roll around the rim layups that didn't spin the right way. Don't think Woodville made one outside shot. Hemphill running out of gas late and Woodville girls came back hard but too little too late especially after Brooke Taylor and Foster fouled out. Poor officiating, too, both ways but Hemphill got lots of leeway. Hemphill coach showed her usual behavior, almost escortetd out by law.

The opening game for the Silsbee Lady Tigers this year was against Hemphill at Silsbee.  It was a close game that Silsbee won.  It was the first time that I had seen Hemphill girls basketball or their Coach.  I thought at the time that she was a little too intense! :

The Hemphill coach is not a little to intense,  she is way to intense.  Headsup is correct that a police officer had to come tell here to calm down and stay off the court during play.
