643 Posted October 29, 2007 Report Share Posted October 29, 2007 Well I havnt read any post of a sucessfull youth hunt so heres one. We had 4 boys n 1 girl from Miss along with 2 local boys hunting with us Sat N Sun. 2 of the boys were 9y/o and the rest were in their teens. The 9 y/os took 1 6pt 1 spike and 2 does, the girl got her first doe after several misses, the teen agers took 4 does and a cpl of spikes, two of the boys dads took a cpl of does with a bow. Several good bucks were seen chasing does as the 'Rut' is in full swing here in Hardin Co. One of the 9y/o boys from Miss took the 6pt and doe for his 11th deer, the other 9y/o took his 5th deer.
