It would have to be Jordan Henry and Tyler Wells, both play for Ole Miss.  I believe Jordan recieved SEC Freshman of the Year last year along with other conference awards. Tyler Wells will be new on the Ole Miss team this year but he has serious speed and as a high school junior he could hit the ball as far as anyone. They are both from Vicksburg High in Mississisppi.

i lived with jordan henry in vicksburg while playin on the babe ruth 16 yr old team at regionals his parents were my host parents and jordans brother justin was drafted in the 9th round by the NY Yankees

Are you sure that's right? I believe it was the Detroit Tigers who drafted him. 8)

Where did you play and when. Reason being I met Ryan Franklin @ Seminole St in 99 who had left there in 93, that same yr 99 saw John Lackey pitch in JUCO series. Don't mean to discredit your post just asking.

Best player I went against was Beckett from Spring HS in Houston...best player I played with would be Danny Zale from Houston area...both great pitchers are both doing well in the pros

I forgot about Danny Zale where did he play college at?

franklin played in the 'steak series' in 1998

Was you a member of the 'breakfast club' in 99, did you play against Albert Pujols in 99 ?? If so the pitcher 'Zero' used against Pujols used to live with me before he went off to Seminole>> maybe your roommate. Hmmm.

      It has been frustrating seeing the lack of coverage from virtually EVERY media outlet.  We (Chester) are in the SE Texas coverage area.  There are no radio broadcast from our area, and Ch 12 is the only one that has even mentioned it.   I know I could have gotten donations to cover a SETX Sports broadcast.  Oh well, water under the bridge - we aren’t as big as Silsbee, WO-S or PN-G.
