Rebel Classic Broadcast

Recommended Posts

Well with only Silsbee left from our broadcasts for football we at SETXSports.com are turning our attention to basketball and since I have such long standing ties to Evadale we are going to kick off the 2019-2020 basketball with a two day, all day broadcast of the Rebel Classic.

I will be in the gym at Evadale from early on Friday until the last game that night and then back for all the action on Saturday. We are hoping that we can get several more of these types of broadcasts in before the first of the year. This is just another way for SETXSports.com to show our commitment to bringing our listeners the best coverage of high school sports from throughout Southeast Texas.

We are still looking for sponsors that will assist us in putting games on from all over the region from now on through the end of the school year. We will be bringing you softball and baseball in the spring as well as high school fishing and we hope to announce some brand new programing in the next few weeks.

We have packages for just basketball or we can customize a sponsorship that will allow your business to be on every broadcast that we produce here at SETXSports.com. The way this happens is from sponsorship and we need your help. We love high school sports and we have covered our teams all the way to the state championships in Arlington, San Antonio, Austin, Round Rock and on Sam Rayburn where we highlight the champions that we cheer on in our sports. We here at SETXSports.com have been committed for 15 years to bringing the very best of high school sports to YOU...OUR FAITHFUL LISTENERS & WEBSITE SUPPORTERS!

Please help us continue and grow our coverage with sponsorship of our broadcasts.

Thanks and lets get out there and support our schools, athletes, coaches, cheerleaders, bands, drill teams and everything else that makes high school sports the very best thing that you can be involved with.

See you in gym!

    • What the writer stated wrt crossover votes in the primary/runoff: "Covey and his supporters Paxton and Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick said Phelan only won because Democrats crossed over to vote in the Republican Primary for him. Paxton said Covey’s campaign identified “at least” 1,442 Democrats who voted early in Jefferson County in the primary runoff. Texas does not have party registration, but a voter’s primary voting history is public. The Covey campaign has not released its methodology behind its claim, but  This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up  by The Texan news website found that 9% of Republican voters in the March District 21 primary had voted in one of the previous four Democratic primaries. However, only 5% of that group had voted in all four previous Democratic primaries. What Phelan’s opponents did not mention is historically Democratic Jefferson County is undergoing a political transition towards the Republican party — the county judge switched his affiliation to the GOP in 2017 — so many residents have a mixed primary voting history. And Phelan’s allies in the House dismissed the idea that liberals swung the election. "I knocked on doors, hundreds and hundreds of doors, made calls for Dade,” Republican Rep. Jeff Leach, R-Plano, said on Mark Davis’ radio program Wednesday. “I did not speak to a single Democrat down here in HD21. Not a single one." "

    • Most 75-80 year Olds have some type of cognitive impairment. If you are asking if Biden has dementia then my answer is no. That is a Republican talking point. If you all think he has dementia what type do you think he has?
