only beef i have is i would trade offensive mvp and 1st team outfielders...dishon for calhoun...just my opinion, dishon hit for more power, whle calhoun was a big average guy, the home run dishon hit off treece in bc might be the reason we went to the playoffs...

congrats to everyone

Have to question some of these picks..Anyone know how many of the 14 BC errors in the Jasper series were made by first team all district picks...These should be all around all-stars not just hitters.....

Maybe it is time to quit knocking the Bridge City players for those errors and give the credit to Jasper for forcing the errors with their speed and aggressiveness.  It is kind of funny how two state tournament teams managed to also suddenly make several errors against the Dogs.  In fact, if you were to look you might see that BC did much better against Jasper than either of those two "state" teams Jasper played at RR.  :)  Jasper came within inches of ten run ruling both state games.

Injun, I believe it works like this!!

This is just the way I see it and I'm not trying to take anything from the players that did make the all-district team.

The coach puts his kids up, then the coaches vote and "almost" all the time, the players with the highest batting avg. gets 1st team. They don't look at fielding % or any of the other things.

ya if they where picked from the hole year including playoffs, i think first team pitchers would look a little different ;)

Who do you think would deserve the MVP if they considered the playoffs?  I don't disagree that Reagen wouldn't get it if they did count playoffs.  He did fine in all of his starts except the BC one, but wasn't able to throw at the state tourney.  His bat was huge in all of the series though.  And his defense was great.  He did make an error in the finals though.
