Lumberton 38 Huffman Hargrave 31/FINAL-OT

Recommended Posts

Hopefully it's a competitive game.  As of right now I see either team winning but must give edge to Lumberton.. From all I have seen both make several mistakes during game. This game will be determined on how well Huffman O plays.  As all our games over the past season and 1/2 have been.  Flashes of greatness, but no consistency.

Lumberton Is suspect against  the pass, if we move the pocket and attack the middle of field (not just the sidelines) we might be able to put some points up.

Middle of the field hasn't really been challenged much in the 5 games we have played, BUT, we have given up a few yards and at least one score to the pass. Huffman receivers run good routes and seem to get open regularly.  Passing accuracy and catching consistency have been suspect though. Pretty sure they will get some opportunities but we will bring more pressure than the QB has seen and there will be turbulence in the middle of the field.

I think Huffman's passing attack gives Lumberton fits, but the home team always seem to have an advantage. I would be surprised if the outcome was anymore than 10 points difference.

I'm taking the.....

Falcons 31

Raiders 24

Good call from what we have seen so far from both teams.  It should be a 10 point or less game.  However, assuming Lumberton scores 24......

That will be enough.

Raiders  24

Falcons  17

    • I liked his no bull crap attitude. He was a man of very few words. Extremely strong and freaky athletic!!! As close as possible to being the best offensive lineman to ever play the game. I hope his family finds peace without him!!! RIP #73
    • Chester, a small town in NE Tyler County.  A town that is seeing growth with the addition of a national chain store and a new school being built.  If you travel 287 toward Dallas from the Golden Triangle you have probably passed through Chester.  Things tend to stay pretty consistent and it is your typical small town.   A trip to state is the buzz around town, and the talk before church services begin on Sunday.  This year’s graduating class will number 11.  We don’t have a radio station that covers the Yellowjackets.  We are never a lead story on any of the news stations that broadcast to our community. With all that said, there is a closeness and sense of pride in our community.  Every community rallies behind their kids as they progress into the playoffs.  We are proud of our boys as they have represented our community well and with class. We invite you to follow our boys as they go to state.  We welcome the greater SETX communities as honorary Yellowjackets.  Tune in, watch live or come to Round Rock personally and join us in supporting the Chester Yellowjackets.  Go ‘Jackets!!! ⚾️💜💛⚾️🟣🟡⚾️💜💛⚾️
