adminbaberuth
Jonathan Smith started for Pirates, got the ball up and Nederland took advantage of it and took a 4 run lead. For the Dogs, Ryan Sampere started strong, got thru order once, then the bottom dropped out. He had either Daniel Teal or VJ Bunner down 0-2 and hung a curve that open the flood gates with a 8 spot in the 3rd or 4th, Nederland's defense didn't help that inning either.Taylor Robichau of Vidor pitched great in relief. we know that VJ Bunner is something a SS, but Larry Williams the catcher is a throw back on the diamond, what a leader. The 4 hole hitter, I believe it's Perkins, has prospect written all over him.If Nederland can get Beau healthy, correct the defensive lapses, they can right this wobbling ship.Ā Ā That was Reagan Stanley with the major league catch in RF.
