  1. This one is a toss up. Vidor gets a + for home field advantage, Livingston gets a + for momentum off last weeks game. Clear weather, dry field, I say the Lions by 3. Should be a great game.
  2. Big Ned wins this one and advances. The Bulldogs have found the magic. Good Luck Dog's from an Indian fan!
  3. Way to represent Mid-County Dogs! PN-G is in your camp!
  4. Southeast Texas is behind you Jasper. You have and will do us proud! Best of luck.
  5. "Only 16 tests were failed by major leaguers; minor leaguers accounted for the remaining 158." With bigger dollars comes better science?
  6. Someone let me know when I can take this clothes pin off my nose....
  7. 1980 - Nolan Ryan 's first win as an Astro comes in an 8-0 victory over Cincinnati. It's the initial dividend from baseball's first million-dollar-per-year contract. Ryan fans seven and walks six in seven innings. Jose Cruz is the star with three hits and five RBIs, including a bases-loaded triple in the first inning.
  8. Just as the article did, and as everyone else has done so far, why don't we choose to focus on the positives of the game, and leave that part alone piratefan?
  9. 1999 - Jeff Bagwell bashes three home runs at Wrigley Field and drives in six to drop the Cubs, 10-3. Bagwell passes Jim Wynn's mark for the most homers in franchise history.
  10. When they showed Garner's face I think I saw IDIOT tattooed on his forehead.
  11. 2005 - Back-to-back homers by Adam Everett and Craig Biggio in the first pace the Astros over Ben Sheets and the Brewers, 6-1. Biggio drives in himself for the 1,000th RBI of his career, the second Astro to achieve that many in a Houston uniform. Later, he swipes third for his 399th career steal. Roy Oswalt tosses a complete-game four-hitter while Everett enjoys a three-hit night. 1997 - Craig Biggio blasts two homers to topple Los Angeles, 3-1, at Dodger Stadium. His solo shot off Ismael Valdes stakes the Astros to an early lead but Raul Mondesi ties the game with a blast off Chris Holt. After Tim Bogar doubles, Biggio takes Tom Candiotti deep in the eighth for the game-winner. 1994 - A leadoff homer by Craig Biggio blossoms into a four-hit night as Houston trips the Cubs, 7-5. Jeff Bagwell drives in four runs. Tom Edens picks up the win in relief. Think Biggio might hit a homer tonight?
  12. Lookin for the best help for the Indians I'll have to pick Dayton in this one.
