Pot meet kettle, wth does a fan of a 5-7 college football program flood a certain forum?

To answer your "wth" question in the appropriate forum.

Bulldogbacker's Top 10 Reasons I Post!

1) That is what real fans do. They don't change schools with the season. I was a Longhorn at my birth.

2) That is what real fans do. They don't change schools when a different team is trending. I received a BSME from The University of Texas and will still be a Longhorn at my death.

3) I always document  statements about my school with numbers not opinions. Opinions in my posts are usually noted as such!

4) I always question those making statements or opinions without numbers to prove their statement or opinion. Questions are worded clearly and the use of a question mark.

5) When questions of a post go unanswered, I assume that I was right and leave it at that. It is wrong to assume, but assuming is better than being a nagging poster!

6) I try to report all I can find about my school, good or bad. And there is so much to report on in spite of only 11 wins in the Smart Era. Why is Texas always in the news? NSD 2016 was certainly a hoot!

7) Jab at other posters who are fans of rival schools.

8) I try to post on topics that are applicable. If not, I start a new one. Some posters need a splatter guard and can't stay on topic.

9) My post count is not any higher. Others are not posting because it is off season.

10) My 5-7 football team has 11 wins in Coach Strong's first two years. One more then the current Arkansas coach in his 1st two years. My posts are usually facetious and funny. This one is too!!

All of this has been duly noted.

Actually its not what "real fans" do hence the warning you got in April while I was off the board. Remember that? Flooding the forum with thread after thread after thread after thread after thread after thread with the majority of it being bs and a good amount of factual content that could be in one thread or two to four thats already started. Well this is an unofficial reminder warning. Im sure you will duly note this, at least I hope so.  ;)

    • Will probably be released by the Democrats come September.  Sound familiar?
    • Sure.  You reassign an employee and they leave voluntarily instead of being fired and being open to litigation.  The outcome is the same, but you are making my point.  The superintendent and AD and principal are all empowered to make personnel decisions.  Instead of accepting the decision made, you talk about lawyering up, no one else was reprimanded, railroad job.  I am old enough to remember when high school sports taught life lessons...accountability being chief among them.
    • I know absolutely nothing about the situation, but I do know head coaches of sports other than the AD have actual teaching assignments, and I know from my wife having worked in the sped department of multiple schools that it’s not uncommon at all for coaches to shirk those duties.  It could very well be that this was the case at BC.  Or not, I don’t know.  Just bringing this up to point out the fact that, although many coaches only want to worry about coaching, they generally have several other responsibilities at the school.  some of them neglect or ignore these duties entirely.  If he’s been written up for other issues before, it’s a dumb argument to say “he was punished for this and others were not”.  If he had a pile of write ups in his file and they did not then it makes sense that the punishments were different.
    • He wasn’t fired, he was reassigned and people get reassigned all the time. If he was actually fired, then you would have a point, but he wasn’t fired. Based on the information presented here no way this would stand if they fired him and he lawyered up.
    • I heard the assistant was going to get this job and assume it was referring to the old Vidor coach, Nate Smith.  I always thought he did more with less at Vidor and can't help but think he shares some responsibility in Vidor's recent success.
