As much as I respect the Nederland crew, lets be honest here. They were out to prove a point in that game to bmt. Last years bmt team did the same. (Wanted to prove a point). They could have controled the score board if they truely wanted to and chose not to. Back up backs aren't the only way to slow down.
As far as the mark holmes name getting tossed under the bus you guys are simply barking up the wrong tree on that one. He does more for this league and kids than any of us on the forum. He is a stand up guy and should be respected by all of us. On a side note, there is committee of decision makers that ruled on this game and similar incidents. (He is not on it). With this being said, Mark Holmes deserves more respect from us turds who simply enjoy flappin about our favorite Pee wee, Jr or senior football teams.

boys of fall, don't be a knucklehead.  you sound just like them.  "there are other ways to control the score".  you obviously didn't realize that it doesn't matter how many you score.  the board isn't saying don't score.  and no ned was not out there to prove a point that game. they weren't playing Bugatti's crew and needed revenge or something.  You are right about one thing though------  The true intention of the board, that they just wont say, is try not to score. 

 

I am not sure how much knowledge you have about the whole situation, buy I would bet that it is just about as much as the board had when they made their decision (not much).  I was hoping this situation would drop. Whisperer, I thought you said this was the spread thread?

Im sure the Ned boys prove another point this weekend against PNG P , which is not allowing anyone to score !!

Please do not use words that need to be disguised by using symbols such as &%@$ as it is against the rules of this forum. Also do not use people's names in unsubstantiated rumors or flame individuals, again against the rules of setxsports.com. 

 

.......... and the Open Meetings Act (Texas Government Code Chapter 551) applies only to governmental bodies such as city councils, school boards, TX legislature etc., and certain private but public boards such as as some homeowner's associations and non-profit groups that receive federal funding. Unless the federal government is funding the STJFL, it does not come under open meetings laws.

I agree with you about personal names etc.  I partially disagree with you about the open meetings act.  The STJFL adopted it in their bylaws and filed it.  I think they are bound to follow those rules for various reasons.  No need to have a debate on here.  The coaches of Ned and bmt have put this to rest.

Now that all the crying is done, over a game that happen two weeks ago.

Thomas the train over Cupcake crew by 6

Of over BMW by 2 (come on guys, BMW beat png w, it's not the same team from last year by far).

Bmt G over Red Raiders by 8 (bmt g def. shows up might be a different story)

Ned it doesn't matter who yall play, we already know the out come..

PNG yall both get shut out. Why you ask? Well yall play ned.

      Whatever happened to educating people so that they don’t go off the deep end pursuing an incident that shouldn’t be political in the first place? Seems everyone is looking for their “trigger”moment. The dumbing down of America has taken its toll. Anyone who would hold this against her is doing so out of spite and for political gain. Said people need to be ignored.

      You won’t get an argument from me that this won’t hurt her nationally but I don’t think this will hurt her in SD or even an appointment in a Republican administration.  I’m sure she saw backlash from some, apparently not from folks like you and me, which is significant, but like I said, I appreciate the honesty.

      Appreciate the confidence.  Why don’t we see how this works out for her.  Going great so far.  She MIGHT be able to get re-elected in South Dakota next election, but if a good candidate runs against her in the Republican primaries she may be in trouble.  I don’t think there’s a chance in hades she gets the VP nomination, and if for some reason Trump is dumb enough to give it to her, his chances of winning are probably over.  On a positive note, maybe DeSantis gets it now?  If they win and do a decent job then we’d have a VP ready to run for president in four years with a good shot of winning.

      I honestly don’t have an issue with it.  I grew up around livestock.  We had a neighbor lose nearly 30 animals in a 3-week period before they caught the dogs doing it. Those dogs needed to die.  I was there when my uncle killed a dog that was eating his chickens… didn’t bother me. If one of my dogs ever bites one of my kids it’ll be dead.  Immediately.  But some things are better left unsaid, and probably 90% of the country loves dogs, with only a small fraction of them being able to relate to why she did what she did.
