Michael Jacquet III of Beaumont Central is reporting a Texas State offer.   Anybody know anything about this that can confirm?  He's projected as an Athlete 6'3" 185LBS.

It's confirmed, Texas State is recruiting him at WR but he mentioned they will be reviewing him at camp for QB also.  He camped at Louisiana on Sunday and will be visiting La Tech this Saturday.

It is also being reported that Lamar has offered Corey Sanders.  Does that mean Franchione will now pull his offer??  :)

LOL, yeah Exxon Mobil Refinery views with aging nontraditional commuters vs clear scenic river hill country and young beautiful coeds.  If it came down to the 2 schools I think you could get a hobo off the street to recruit for Texas State over Coach Woodard and it would still be no contest.

Quite the overstatement my friend!!!  But it is fun to jab back in forth!!

Running back offers are still going out apparently.  This is an interested year, in the past the coaches have offered 3 deep at a position and really stayed on those guys until they got their 1 or 2, but this year they have offered multiple guys at each position.

Tyrell Thompson of Copperas Cove is taking a 2nd unofficial visit to Texas State this weekend, where he will watch the Spring Game.  He plays Strongside Defensive end and measures in at 6'3" 255LBS.  The Bobcat Program is starting to grow on Tyrell and so far the chemistry remains mutual.  "I'm really starting to build a relationship with coaches from both Texas State and UTSA, however Texas State is showing me the most interest and I really like how they get after it on defense," (Per Rival Site Bobcatreport)

Tyrell Thompson commits to UH last night.  Big time get for the Cougars!

Per a couple of Twitter feeds these players are claiming offers.  I will follow up and see who's legit.  Probably put a stamp on Josh Uluocha, he was next in line if Tyrell Thompson committed elsewhere.

Joshua Uluocha DE/DT 6'3" 267lbs (Stafford HS)

Commit #3 is in.....

5'9" 190lb (QB) L.G. Williams of Cibolo Steele committed to the Bobcats over Army, New Mexico, UTSA, and Sam Houston St.  He participated in the Dallas Elite 11 where he excelled over the steep competition and even won over Trent Dilfer, George Whitfield, and Jordan Palmer for his play.  Last season, Williams passed 1,568 yards, rushed for 944 yards and scored 25 touchdowns and helped Cibolo Steele reach the state quarterfinals.

Commitment # 4 is in....

6'3" 195lb  Dual Threat QB Blake Peterson out of Washburn Rural HS in Kansas.  He had 0 offers but was drawing interest from Kansas State and Tulsa before dropping the hammer.  It will be interesting to see if he stays committed, we still have a longs ways to go till NSD.  Blake ran a 4.65 time at the Dallas Satellite Camp last week.
