You got give Coach Brevel  and the Indians some kudos this year to be advancing. After going un-defeated last year in district, then starting a freshman in a 1 game series to stay alive this year, both ends of the spectrum.

I really like the 1 game winner-take all schedule for this year's PN-G team. Georgetown will be tough.

Just wondering why you made this comment.  Anything can happen in an one game playoff (see Dayton vs Nederland - good thing it wasn't an one game playoff).  PNG has many good pitchers and I would think a three-game series would be to their benefit.

LeDoux has been hurt and isn't back to 100%.  He threw 2 inning last series so hopefully he is getting better.  Ashworth is more of a reliever/closer than a starter.  Coach Brevell is doing what he thinks gives his team the best chance to win and advance to the next round.

If this is the case than he needs to let Leckich hit.

As an underdog which in my eyes PN-G is (and I'm a former Indian) I want to be able to throw everything and the kitchen sink at a team. I haven't seen Georgetown but just looking at their results they look tough plus the fact that this is a 5A program just dropping down usually means depth. Indians have some good arms but none that I consider a stud that goes 7-8 innings right now. Use the power of the staff for one game.

Im with you Shly, after seeing above average pitching during district. lantrip, sanderson, raines, smith, foshee, etc...we hit the ball much better against Summer Creek. And after being in multiple low scoring extra inn. games I like the one game series. It puts a lot of pressure on defences to make plays. I like our chances.

I don't know if this game will be played today or not, but weather.com is saying there's a 100 percent chance of rain in New Caney today. Can't imagine that bodes well for it.

If it rained this morning, that's 100%.

    • This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up From the article: “As a parent, then as a homeowner, if you have some equity in your home, then you can say to your child, you know, ‘don’t take out the loan,’” she said. “‘I’ll take out some of the equity to help you pay for tuition so that you don’t graduate with extraordinary student loan debt, and so that when you graduate, you can do your dream job.’” Essentially, Harris suggested that parents give their kids a leg up in the world by being the ones to take out a loan instead. Except theirs would have much higher stakes than just needing to be paid back — it could mean losing their home. 🤦‍♂️
    • Good luck and safe travels. Bring it home.
    • It has been frustrating seeing the lack of coverage from virtually EVERY media outlet.  We (Chester) are in the SE Texas coverage area.  There are no radio broadcast from our area, and Ch 12 is the only one that has even mentioned it.   I know I could have gotten donations to cover a SETX Sports broadcast.  Oh well, water under the bridge - we aren’t as big as Silsbee, WO-S or PN-G.
