yeah until they announce the new coach at another high school down the road
Duane will be successful wherever he coaches.I hope he stays in Kountze because I enjoy watching how he developes his players down there. The players Kountze have returning will keep the ball in their hand all summer and will look like a seasoned club by the time district rolls around next year.If Duane does go to one of the bigger schools down the road their days of scoring 29 to 39 points a game will be a distant memory.
can the church say amen....i was thinking the same thing

 15.
Second Best... It's Destiny!! 1999 Central High School Jags #3 in a loaded district... at the end of thr regular season it was #4 Humble, #9 Kingwood and #12 Central... Willowridge had been disqualified because of Ivan McFarlin...  They won State the next two years and would have given Central fits in 1999...  Central met 4 of the top 15  (3 of the top 5) in this playoff run, this was the regional final.  They beat #4 Humble (which had beat us twice in district), #1 Milby, #15 Dulles, and #2 Duncanville. But the Game was Central vs. Dulles and it was a doozy... Central led this game by as many as 16 when Dulles turned up the intensity!!! By the 4th quarter they took the momentum and their first lead of the game.  When the buzzer struck 00:00 the game was tied... Overtime and Central came out and hit the first three buckets.  But the resilient Dulles team came back to tie it up, Central looked tired and beaten and there was about 2 seconds left on the clock.  The score was tied and getting ready to go into a second overtime that the Jags would surely lose.  Then Skip Jackson took one step off the inbounds and launched a 3/4 court shot.  I was sitting just behind the goal...  Aldine campbell was loud and on fire..  The noise was almost deafening... I could see the basketball approach the rim and it looked good.  I jumped up and raised my hands as the entire stadium went silent for about 3 seconds.  It was disbelief!  Then it just erupted...  I yell, "Its destiny!" then the next week we got blized by Duncanville and Brian Boddicker!!!!  It felt good in Aldine... It felt like our time... The best high school basketball game of Centrals 2 decades of existance!
i know.. i was on the court when it happened...it was just our time. i got that game tape
 16. Congrats to the Jags..first time since 2000. Proud of you guys...Jaguar Pride lives on
 17.
im sure this is the impossible nobody could do it but i wud take the titans over the lions on a neutral court....  Memorial has 4 guards that are physical with the ball and can shoot the 3 ball. shaquille white is the best of them and  # 21 the little guy plays hard noise defense and if u dont have the ball dont looked to get it. only thing i give the lions is depth of course they are 15 deep and inside memorial has some beast in jamarcus jones and wendell pierce who plays the wing but he is long and runs the floor well. whoever would win this game would win by 5 to 8 pts
man please.. i like the titans but i have seen both teams play. memorial would be another victim of the yates press. memorial barely beating washing ton marion of lake charles. yates beating people by 100 points. i say memorial lose by 40
 18. man if u cant keep up then dont try to play they game. if my team was stacked like i wouldnt hold them back and slow down for no one
 19.
Wow!  you can't even wait to see how League play pans out?  Coach was thrown in the mix.  We are now tied for second place.  He's not doing a bad job.  Seems like somebody's feathers are ruffled for whatever reason.  We not even in the second half of the district! ::) ::) BTW, this is a stupid post and poll, in my opinion...
I agree Soulja....how can you make a poll between just those two coaches anyway. do yall know how many coaches are going to apply for that job.district just started. they tied for 2nd place and ozen barely escaped them yet again. DANG give the guy a chance.
 20.
So what happened?  Was Marion that good?  I know when Central used to play them, they had a team full of monsters.  Had a team with a 6'7" guy that was a high flyer than could shoot the lights out and another big man than could grab the top of the backboard.  I don't know any of their name though.
yes they are that good..dont really have a big man but very quick guards and a 6'2 soph guard who can score at will
