The only reason why im not considering LT and Cedar Park district is because im looking from top of the district to the bottom. Yes LT and Cedar Park are probably the best in the state but how is the rest of the district?

La Marque beat Manvel earlier this year during district. Remember that folks when making your picks!

How is the defense? Heard it's average. I picked Montgomery to win the region before the playoffs started so im sticking with it even though im a graduate of Friendswood.

I haven't seen any basketball unfortunatly. Football still keeping me busy I'll check them out soon though!

Basketball will probably be just 2 schools. Ball High which is ranked 1 in the state and La Marque who is ranked 2 in the state!!

I agree you never hear of this happening. Im not sure when the last time this ever happened or if it ever had happened before this deep in the playoffs!!

District 24-4a has 3 teams in the regional finals (Friendswood,Manvel,La Marque)!!! WOW... The 4th team(Pearland Dawson) lost today to Montgomery!

Yea plus PNG lost to Texas City who Manvel killed 46-15. lol I don't really see a solid win on their schedule everyone they beat is no longer playing football. I guess their best win would be Central but heard they werent that strong this year young QB

Yup one is Friendswood who they shouldve won they lost the game themselves there. And they lost to LM saw both of the games they turned the ball over like 4 times against LM to if they don't turn the ball over than they win both games. May I say they had a 21-0 lead on Friendswood to.

Friendswood has a spread offense Maetzold very solid QB spreads the ball around. Doesn't have a number 1 reciever but he normally throws to around 7 recievers a game. Runningback doesn't have much size but is very patient and fast, he has one offer from Texas Tech. Defense is very bad for friendswood they can't tackle well at times. Number 66 defensive end is their best player on defense he was out with a concussion last week but should be back and than they have Jordan Wood who is a sophmore who plays safety I believe maybe corner can't remember.

No they haven't but I don't think they will. I apologize for overlooking them but I think Dayton could beat PNG but not Manvel.

Honestly im not sure if Dayton can beat Manvel. They might be playign the best football right now they got two stud Qbs there with a stud reciever. Their weakness is their defense.

Brenhamfan... Aledo in Division 2 will win the State Championship. I'll go with the winner of Lake Travis and Cedar Park to win the Division 1 State Championship

Good scouting report on Friendswood. Another note is friendswood hasn't really played a complete game since the La Marque game. If you blitz Maetzold and get a lot of pressure in his face than he struggles like he did last week. But watch out Johnson is a very underrated runningback because of his size. Defense is the weak point Manning is the best player on the defense at defensive end but missed last week with a concussion. Jordon Wood is a sophmore who is probably the best secondary player. But if you have a fast runningback who has some moves than you will have success.

Wright is going to see the doctor and see what he saids. He's been battling both ankle sprains all year he's a major D-1 recruit to. He saids he can play but we will see how affective he can be. Brenhamfan how far you think Montgomery will go?

Brenhamfan I agree ith what you have said. I havent seen them in person im sure you have. But I did pick Montgomery to win the region from what I heard they seem to be the real deal. Dobbins reminds me of a runningback we have down here in Tim Wright of La Marque.

This is a toss up Dawson is really good against the run which I believe is Montgomerys strength. But I picked Montgomery to win the region so, im taking Montgomery.

Orignally it was 7 P.M. at Galena Park. But LM wanted to back out of it so coaches were going to discuss their options this morning. Still haven't heard anything official yet.

Correct orginally it was 7 p.m. at Galena Park but one of the coaches is trying to back out of playing at Galena Park. Most likely they will play at Galena Park since where the 1 coach wants to play is booked!
