  1. The sooner all this comes together the better... I am not sure if the school board will let us use any of the fields, but since it would be a school club I guess it would be a possibility. I know for a fact that most of us that played during the fall league are now surely out of shape, and the more we practice now the better we will be prepared. Someone needs to get a hold of Patrick and get a point of view on what he is thinking. Patrick may have information on the piney wood/grove field and if it is possible that we can use it. I am ready to start practicing ...
  2. Have you talked to Patrick lately to see what he is thinking about doing? Would we have a field to play on or would we still need to use the piney grove field? I know that a lot of players that play on the Jasper High School team go to Lufkin every Sunday to play in a tournament/league, but there is about a price of about 300 dollars for the team (20 dollars a player if we have 15). If this whole club soccer thing is going to happen we need to jump on it and get practicing
  3. Randy has shown it time and time again that he can make some big plays... I expect randy to do like always and start the game out right for the Wildcats. I expect the wildcats to elect to kickoff if they win the coin toss... and it will be a 3 and out so ima go with the first touchdown being at about 7 or 8 minutes... with a nice fade from Hazelwood right over Randy's shoulder... for a long gain.. and possibly the touchdown Randy can run... jump... and catch so expect some big plays
  4. Kirbyville has a lot of players that are willing to put fourth the effort to be able to compete with other clubs... however there is also many players that just want to go out and have fun... and well... they dont really care about getting better. I think that if Kirbyville wants to be able to compete and possibly WIN some game we would first need to find the players who have the heart willing to play, and play hard. With that said... most of the girls who have played soccer in Kirbyville in the past just do it for fun... it gives them something to do while in the off-season or something they can do while still in band. Nothing against the girls, but if you are going to make it a co-ed team then I think that it should only be for the girls who put as much effort in as everyone else. No offense ladies . I can't wait to see how everything unfolds
  5. Kirbyville will take this one... as long as Kirbyville plays up to what they are capable of this should be no problem. Of course mistakes are human so Kirbyville will take it by no less than 7 points, and if they can stay motivated they will be able to run away with this game. Kirbyville's offense is nearly unstoppable and their defense is getting there ... This won't be the last game of the season for the Cats...Let's take it to them Prediction: Kirbyville: 35 (might be different depending on the 2 point conversions or not ) Rice: 20
