  1. Time to look forward, not complain about what's past. It'll take time, energy and a whole lot of effort. I'm just excited that the kids are engaged in the program and looking forward to next year.
  2. Not sure if he's moved into town yet. However, he is already being a presence at games. Our former AD never wen. t to any girl's athletic events. And it was wonderful seeing Coach Fortune supporting all athletics. He is getting to know the younger kids too. My daughter said he spoke to her about her activities during lunch, and she's only in 8th grade. I'm seeing a lot of excitement from the kids all throughout the program. From what I understand a lot of kids are getting back into atheletics, too. We know our program needs work and time. Can't wait to see our football boys play to their potential and contribute to our atheletics program. Let's put some banners in the gym, boys!
  3. Last I heard from Billy last fall was he was dissolving the OOC program and was going to start one 18u team(not have several younger age groups under the team name). Not sure beyond that. Hope this helps.
  4. You're right. It's probably too late for her to join a 14u team as most of thos tryouts happen in January. Her skill set, motivation and goals would determine whether she should be on a 14u, 16u, or 18u team. The gold level teams may be having open tryouts depending on their needs. You would do good to contact some teams and see if she could come practice with them and be a pick up player. That's how we started 3 years ago at 11 yrs old and we are playing 18u now. Another important question your daughter needs to answer is if she wants to compete for a scholarship. Most 18u players are looking to play college ball and the competition is stiff out there. Hope this answers some of your questions.
  5. I wouldn't say terrible. However I would say terribly inconsistent. Why in the world would the coaches want to change what worked very well in the game against Tarkington? I don't blame the boys. They tried.
  6. Thank you to everyone who answered my question. After only two tryouts, she found a team and is very excited.
  7. It's good to see that the boys worked on shortcomings from the week before. Gotta give a shout out to the HUGE lil cousin, Dusten Collins. Way to play both ways!! Been a long time since I've seen him play like he did tonight. Now lets prepare for West Hardin. Lets not yo-yo week to week.
  8. Not sure how this will play out. Right now we are mostly going to just watch relaties play. But Haynes either needs to coach the whole team on how to play the whole game or he needs to go away. We all are tired of him only coaching his favorite 2-4 players and not paying attention to where we havve deficits. I'd rather see us play good hard hitting offense, defense, and SPCIAL TEAMS and lose than watch what's been happening.
  9. hardin fumble with inches to go. Liberty recovers for TD. 49-0 liberty
  10. 42-0 liberty. Chayse is overthrowing our receivers all over the place
  11. not unless someone in the stands is keeping up. No PA system goin. Liberty running the ball. Hardin not getting the job done right now. Obviously!! Need to make some adjustments. A couple of hardin turn overs. Jordan jones caught one for a TD. Dennis antoine is being a wor horse for liberty
  12. I'm not sure how it's gonna play out. But it's always fun to watch the school my kids go to play the school I graduated from. Get to see some heartfelt football, cause none of them boys wants to lose to the other, and old friends. All that being said...I'll have to go for our hornets by a touchdown just because I'd get yelled at otherwise...lol
  13. Can we put this baby to bed until next year? Love to see our boys come out and play a good game. I'm sure there's room for improvement...always is. Now let's look forward to next weeks mud slinging speculation and dirision...lol. I'm always happy when football starts up!!
  14. Just wondering where have you been? It's been like that for a couple of years now. Althoug I can say it's much better now that they've blacktopped the rest of the parking lot. My kids were super excited that they won't have to walk through the mud anymore.
