UPDATED 4A Lumberton vs. Crosby Barbers Hill Advances 3A Orangefield vs. Cleveland WO-S vs. Silsbee 2A Kountze vs McGregor Woodville Advances Hardin vs Crawford 1A Burkeville vs Bosqueville Big Sandy vs Chilton/Slocum

Of course being from Orangefield everyone knows who I'm gonna say. Jeff Granger was an All American in 1990. Most remember him as a great pitcher, but he also tied the national high school record for consecutive games with a hit.

She is a great player and is fun to watch. She makes everyone around her better. I love her attitude on the court. She does not showboat, she just goes out and gets the job done. Fine young lady. Best of luck to her and the Lady Tigers in the playoffs.

Texas is up in the Lone Star Showdown 4 1/2 points to 3 1/2 points. Here is the link. [Hidden Content]

Congrats Lady Pirates!!

Not yet. Looks like Orangefield will play Tarkington. I would think the site and date will be determined at the latest by Friday of this week. All playoff info for all teams will be posted here as soon as it is available.

Lumberton will get a bye in the first round and will play the winner of the Runner up of 23 and the Third of 24 game.

Still alot of ball left to play, but I think the Aggies will be tough when the tournament starts!!

No Joke, Billy G for president!!!

Good post. If WOS plays like they did last night in the playoffs they will go a long way again. This district is so tough. You have to bring your A game everygame and if you don't you will get beat. Every team in this district knows that. There will be two very good teams sitting home come playoff time that would have made the playoffs in probably any other district in the state. I look for the three teams that are in the playoffs to go far, with the possibility of two at the regional tournament. Best of luck to all 21-3A playoff teams.

It always is when these two play.

Go check out the Player of the week thread. Courtney is the player of the week this week.

Courtney Wilson - Lumberton Below are her stats from two games last week. 46 Points 20 Rebounds 11 Steals 22 Blocks Congrats Courtney!!

Kirbyville (7-5) at Silsbee (11-1) Orangefield (11-1) at WOS (7-5) For Kirbyville and WOS a win by one and a loss by the other would give them a one game lead for the third playoff spot with one game to play. For Silsbee and Orangefield a loss by either and a win by the other would give one the lead for the district championship. Should be a fun night!! Side note, HJ is still in the running for that third spot also. A loss by Kirbyville and WOS on Friday and a HJ win would put them all at (7-6) with one game to play.

Ancelot is 115-22 since 2003 included this season.

OF JV and Freshman remain undefeated in district play.

She not only is a good player, but a better young lady and honor student. In fact all seven seniors on our team are honor students. Fine group of young ladies. Good article Gabe! Much appreciated!

Bleed was wearing his Converse AllStars last week!! Still looked new!!

Ok someone correct me if I'm wrong, but since there are only three games left, Silsbee and Orangefield have clinched playoff spots. Congrats Lady Tiger and Lady Bobcats!

Hey Ladytiger_balla are you a Senior. I sure hope not, I want to hear you again next year!!
