Jasper hung around against Livingston last year for most of the game, but the offense was woefully bad. The defense held its own. Yeah this is a big measuring stick for the "new" dogs.

I have been watching BH football on a yearly basis for many years now and have never seen them in a rebuilding phase. Haven't seen this year so it might be a first. Typically, I would say if a team manhandles BH they are very strong.

Most schools have the wisdom to have athletic manuals that govern these type issues. More than likely he is allowed to play because of the policies that are in place. And like those who stated it above...to err is human and to forgive is divine. Nevertheless, I bet he is on a very short leash.

If Jasper is good enough to make the playoffs this year I think they win the first round. After that it gets much tougher.

WO-S will be the underdog this year, but that doesn't bother them. How WO-S offense does will determine this game. WO-S will always be solid on defense. Dayton is a very good 4A program. You simply can't beat them every year, they are too good for that. Should be an interesting game.

Come on the kid is legit. 1st Team All-State is in this kids future. Congrats to Ned. I can't remember them having a player selected to the Dave Campbell super team. Maybe Sullivan?

He does a very good job of keeping lineman off him and is very quick.

Silsbee is should be very motivated to win the district in my opinion. All attention will be on WOS/Kirbyville while a very talented Silsbee team will get little respect on this message boards.

I didn't remember Fred being a senior in 88, but he might have been. The RB that year was Chris Hunt. Kid from the mid 90's probably has single season record, but I never can remember his name. Armstrong was a really quick back that put up good numbers also.

BH will have the easiest road to repeat. Jasper will be in the mix, but it will be another tough district season where anything can happen.

These situations leave a lot of people upset. Hope it works out for HD soon.

Jasper's defense was shakey in several of their playoff games, but also looked very good in others. For the whole season I would say they had an excellent defensive team.
