  4. I figured you guys might want to know who you might be facing in the playoffs, so here are the standings from 18-4A. Team W-L-T Pts Nacogdoches 8-0-2 18 Palestine 8-0-2 18 Jacksonville 7-3-0 14 Henderson 5-4-0 10 Center 5-5-0 10 Livingston 3-6-0 6 Jasper 0-9-1 1 Lufkin Hudson 0-9-1 1 Our district does not have overtime or shootout, so two points for a win, one for a tie, and zero for a loss. Palestine and Nacogdoches have already played twice and tied 1-1 both times. Also, no refs showed up for the Livingston-Henderson game. They will replay it if it has playoff implications, otherwise it will just be cancelled.
  5. I saw Adrian Peterson rush 17 times for 305 yards and six touchdowns all in the first half. If I remember correctly Coach Harrell made him take his pads off at halftime so he wouldn't have to listen to AD beg to get back in.
  6. I think Tom Halliburton from the Port Arthur News chose the Golden Triangle games and David Barron of the Houston Chronicle picked the Greater Houston games.
