  1. We should have had homecoming at your field because we ruled it like it was our house. You said a mouth full there Indian15! Yall rolled in sucked up our electricty was the example of a rude house guest and won the prize of beating someone half your size!! Now you can move on to Tarkington and keep telling your self your doing something!! Enjoy your playoffs too! You will be back in no time! Roll on Indians! LMAO
  2. If they had any class they wouldn't have picked Tarkington for their homecoming in the first place! Enough said!! Enjoy your victory Indians!!! I am sure it will be sweet and you can play with your horn you love so much!! Good Luck Longhorns!
  3. Think Cleveland will be left in the cold by Coldspring!! I have seen both teams play and they are both talented but Coldspring plays for keeps there is an aggression that Cleveland lacks in their play! Would love to see this game but I will be following my Pirates watching them secure their playoff position!
  4. Just hate to see this man's name drug through the mud! I have known him a long time and he is a great family man. Would help anybody who needed it and does. The kind guy that is hard to come by these days. This was out of character for him in my opinion. So he must have been really pushed to his limit!! As for Cleveland I wish them luck and hope they move up to 4A soon.
  5. from what I understand Coldspring is already taking steps to keep that Indian horn at home where it belongs!
  6. I can tell you just what happened!! Yes Shepherd was losing and the lovely horn blower kept blowing the horn for every first down, every run, for every everything!!! Then she blew the horn when the Pirates where on 4th and long!!! The man went and asked nicely if she would not do that! She said I can blow this horn when ever I want to! He then unplugged the cord and told her not act like that. Then the other Cleveland board member said your just mad because your team is getting their A** beat!! He said yes they are and you don't have to rub it in the kids face! The Cleveland horn crew then had it plugged back in. He said don't blow the horn on critical plays, you can blow when you make a touchdown etc.... The horn blower that she is later turned the horn to the Pirate home side and blew and blew!!! I guess the man loves the kids of Shepherd enough that he would risk ridicule from strangers to stand up for what he thought was right. From what I hear he apologized and bought the rude guy an even better extention cord then what he had!! To top it all off at the end of the game they managed to plug the thing back in and when the Pirate team went to run into the locker room she laid on it again as they passed!! Regardless of the cord getting cut who does something like that to kids!! He made one bad choice to cut the cord but I think Cleveland must act like this on a regular basis according to other posts.
  7. I tell you for a fact that know one has asked him to step down nor will he! I don't know where you are getting your information from but it is wrong! The last time I checked you could have a knife in the consession stand! Gosh we may have to fire the band boosters for having weapons! Your not to bright C-Town! Why do you even care you have your on foul mouthed board member to worry about!! Move on! Nobody cares! Hey Shepherd looser, I got it straight from your A.D., and your right crack head, you can have a knife in the concession stand, BUT you cant go and get one and decide to start cutting up something that doesnt belong to you, thats a crime, and the last time i checked it wasnt a crime to speak your mind, once again a wanna be nobody tryin to stand up for a loser who committed a crime. Gosh you sure do get upset easy! The last time I checked the AD doesn't make decisions like that either! I agree he shouldn't have cut the cord but you guys where using someone else electricity! When asked to stop may Cleveland should have just stopped! What are the rules on air horns any way. I don't think they are supposed to be used! Crack head!! thatS good one! Are you even old enough to be on here!

  9. So in 43 years, counting this one, your school has only had 16 seasons with more wins than losses. They have had 13 coaches for an avg. of 3.2 years each. My guess, it is as much unreal expectations and no patience as bad coaching. You can't change the genetics of the kids, so change the coaches. Genetics are the one thing that the power players in the community as well as the school boards never want to admit when it comes to not being successful. that's faulty logic. it assumes that all the coaches in 43 years of history were "gotten rid of". many left of their own accord to move on to bigger and better opportunities. Blount moved to Tomball, Corn became Superintendent, Meekins moved to become administrator in another district, to name a few. some were interim coaches who never expected or wanted the position permanently. no, historically the community is supportive of the coaches. they supported Turner and he had two seasons at 2-8 but a "power player" wanted him gone despite how the community felt. despite that mistake we lucked out and got Hubbard who lead us from 2-8 his first year to 7-3 and 6-4 seasons. but there again the same "power player" wanted him gone. then we get Hanks, good man, no-one has a bad word to say about him, he just hasn't been able to get things lined-out. the general consensus is, for whatever reasons, he's not the right man for the job. now the same "power player" insists that he is.(i have my opinion as to the motives of this "power player" but won't get into it here.) it is understandable that it seems we as a community have recently been impatient with coaches but that is just not the case. if the community fell short in support of the coaches anywhere it is in the fact that they didn't stand up against the "power player" when he was removing good coaches and insisting we keep(sorry if it sounds harsh but) a bad one. as for our "genetics" - the majority understands that we, as a whole, don't produce enough star athletes to expect 10-0 seasons and we don't run people off when the don't produce that for us. but is it unreasonable for us expect seasons that are indicative of the talent we do produce?
