Our stadium is over 50 years old too. Its time for an upgrade. You guys need a new stadium? Look at Jasper's then come talk to me about needing a new stadium.

At this point in time even an NIT bid for Lamar would be great, but lets hope for NCAA!

You would think with Lamar being #1 in the entire SLC they would get the nod. I have to admit I wonder how many wins and what type of schedule would Lamar or any SLC team need to get an at large bid.

Now personally I don't see why West Brook would want any part of the new stadium. Ozen and Central do need to stadium but not West Brook. WB's stadium is nice because it is right there on campus and it has a more intimidating feeling.

What was the largest crowd ever recorded at Cardinal Stadium for a Lamar football game? And also Texas Bob has the seating capacity at 17,500 now, but my dad(former graduate) swears up and down to me at one time it sat around 19 -20.

Pat Green doesn't hit the stage until 10:00. You can get out of the game ~9:00 and still make it to downtown PA for the best part of Mardi Gras. I believe Eli Young Band plays at 5:30

It shouldn't for many years this was very common at not only the college level but as well as the pro.
