Manvel is obviously in a different league in size, speed and skills. Nederland has to hope for breaks in the game like turnovers, play their game of the year and not squander any chances Nederland had a chance for a fairly short field goal and bobbled the snap. Then Nederland scores a touchdown only to again mess up the snap and let Manvel return PAT attempt to 2 points. Basically Nederland didn’t get down and give up when down 21 point 9 minutes into the game and had chances to make it 21-10 or even 21-17 at the half and didn’t take opportunities they had. Then they will receive 2nd half kickoff. Can’t do that against a great team but Nederland is still in the game if they can push in a first drive. It might get ugly later but Nederland is not hanging their heads so far and making Manvel work for it. A couple of breaks and we might be in for some excitement.
