I'd hate to get out there and outfish all ya'll!  ;) Might embarrass ya!  :P Nice of you to organize this smokin....I hope you limit out and fill the chests! Have fun!  8)
 4. From Baytown Sun online: Dayton dominates 19-4A all-district football team Posted: Wednesday, December 1, 2010 12:00 am | Updated: 10:19 pm, Tue Nov 30, 2010. Sports Stuff Reports | 0 comments The Dayton Broncos took home District 19-4A Most Valuable Player, Offensive Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year and Coach of the Year honors on Tuesday. Other than that, Jerry Stewart’s club didn’t do a whole lot during the 2010 high school football season. “We are extremely proud of our football season,’’ said Stewart, who was named the league’s Coach of the Year after guiding the Broncos to a 9-4 record and the Region III-4A Division II semifinals. “We have had a pretty nice run going.’’ How nice? Dayton has averaged 10 wins per season over the past four years, Stewart said. “Our kids play very hard,’’ Stewart said. “We have played after Thanksgiving four years in a row. That is saying something.” Darrian Wright, a 6-1, 270-pound senior, was named the league’s MVP. Wright has verbally committed to SMU. Junior Jakari Delasboer (6-0, 200) was the district’s Offensive MVP, while senior Xavier Baldwin (5-10, 170) was the Defensive MVP. Kaleb Denny, the freshman quarterback who helped Barbers Hill finish second in 19-4A, was named Newcomer of the Year. Lee’s wide receiver/defensive back Jaevon Richardson was a first-team choice on both sides of the ball as was Dayton wide receiver/defensive back Gamal Fowler and Dayton punter/kicker Juan Carranco. “There are a lot of great athletes in this district,’’ Stewart said, speaking of Richardson. The rest of Dayton’s first-team all-district selections included defensive lineman Charles Tousant, linebackers Aaron Ripkowski and Joe Duff, defensive back Quincy Williams, offensive lineman Juan Torres, running back Ryan McBride and quarterback Andres Herrera. Barbers Hill had seven first-team selections, Crosby had four, Lee had three and Goose Creek Memorial had one. Barbers Hill’s all-district choices included center Devin Knotts, offensive lineman Dillon Bergstrom, tight end/fullback Clay McDonald, running back Wade Duke, defensive lineman Luke Troxell, defensive end James Bellard and linebacker Ryan Reuter. Crosby’s first-team picks were offensive lineman Justin Walker, receiver Willie Hebert, linebacker Emanuel Colomb and defensive back Gage Larkin. Lee defensive lineman Terrance Boyd also was a first-team choice, as was Goose Creek offensive lineman Kendall Wilkerson.
 5.
I don't have a problem with it either, I just thought it didn't fit with their team.  Yes, we yell Scalp 'em but we are INDIANS...they are Maverick's and use a Indian battle cry? However it's not for me to figure out, if it makes sense to them then that's all that matters.
Didn't Indians ride Mavericks (horses)?  That is the connection I made when I heard the Hoka Hey thing.  Just my 0.2 cents.

[Hidden Content] Dayton had some missed opportunities, they easily could have had at least 12 points minimum off field goals. La Marque is off to the 4th round for 14th time in the last 18 seasons. That's insane.
is this article supposed to be a play on words using "Deflates"?  or is "D-Flats" correct?
Deflates. I corrected it. It sucks not having an editor because I couldn't figure out if it had an "e" or not. I even tried to look it up but still wasn't sure. Oh well, there's next time.
Thanks for sharing the article.
 7.

Congrats to all teams in this district I will now pull for some other school to win it. Congrats to you guys.
??? Not sure I got the middle part about pulling for some other school???
I think he's just sayin he will pull for a team still playing because the team he normally pulls for is no longer in it....at least, that's how I took it.
 8.
Good season for all teams in southeast Texas this was a very hard year I believe all teams give a 112%. Good luck next season
Ditto!
 9.
Well we won 3 out of 4. We will not respond to all the tacky posts over the past several days. Just say - congrats and good luck next year. We will enjoy continuing to represent our region. Later.
Congrats fw...that is an accomplishment to be very proud of! Now go get the state title!!!
Let me guess, Manvel has black kids so automatically PNG "cannot match the speed and athleticism"?
This is a funny statement and one I have been waiting for. "Remember the Titans", To me a team that has all races will succeed the most. What I mean by that is, it should be equal across the board, no dominate race. Those are the teams that dominate on a regular bases. I hate the term more "Athletic"  What is that? Do you people think God made one race more athletic than the other? That is the same as saying one race is smarter than the other.  We are equal, it is what you do with yourself that seperates you from the weak. The strong survive the weak do not. Plain and simple.
Well said, well said....*many thumbs up*
 16.
:o :o 2:28 is a long time
You got that right!!!

 18. This game seems like it is never going to end! Anyone else feel that way? Actually, now that I think about it....that's how it usually feels when the game is not going the way you would have hoped! Not really used to this!  :(
 19.
heck Lets quit Playing football and just fight....sounds alot funner at this point....
:D

 21.
LaMarque, get ready for chop blocks in the back, face masks, goin for the knees. Manvel is the dirtiest team I have ever seen in high school football. BTW. 10th personal foul on Manvel.
WOW... OMG I hear the Brenham "good-bye" song (for real, I can hear it through the broadcast) ::)
 22.
Manvel is a dirty team. Hope LaMarque destroys them!
I am curious why you think they are a dirty team? (not trying to stir the pot...just have no perspective- I have never seen them play nor am I at the game to see what's going on...only listening over the radio)
