With the 2022-23 season behind them, Coach Nichols and her lady Falcons are resting up. This season was plagued with problems from injuries of two top players and social issues with others. The team had limped along doing pretty well until the half-way mark when a top player was knocked out for the season along with the Senior whose broken leg had kept her off the court most of the season. To add insult to injury, an embarrassing situation at HF had players out for multiple games and then a starting player quit the team moments before the district game against Livingston (they won anyway) but this team has heart and they will go places. So much of the drama will be behind them now and Coach Nichols can let them show what they are made of. Accusations against the coach have remained unproven and undeserved so she’s free to coach the way she always has, with true love for the sport and ALL of its players. Watch out Region IV, those Talons will be sharp!
