1. Great job North, very proud of all the players and coaches and parents for a good season against some tough competition…Good luck to everyone in the Super Bowls tomorrow.
2. I don't usually say much on this venue, but I have to congratulate the Lumberton Senior Blue on an awesome season. We had a very difficult schedule, (just look it up) and we have fought hard through it to be Co-Champs of Big School Division I Co-Champions with PNG White. Good luck to everyone in the playoffs and as this season has already proved, ANYTHING can happen!!!! IM HAPPY. GO BLUE!!!!!!
3. Lumberton Blue 8, Vidor 7….Great defensive game… Vidor is a very good team with good coaching. It was a slugfest. Proud of Raider Blue!
4. Just for the record, Brady IS a stand-up guy and just because he is loyal he sometimes takes a beating. But no one should question his true feelings for the kids of southeast Texas. Especially the ones from Kountze that give it their all every game knowing that it is going to be an uphill battle. Just saying….
5. Looks like we have a lot of talent and "talk" this year. Good Luck to all the senior teams, its gonna be interesting…..…Go Blue!!!
6. GREAT JOB PIRATES, great season, great players and great coaching. We could not quite put it all together against a very good Carrollton team, but finishing runner-up in the 12U Division Isn't too bad. Im am totally proud of our players, coaches and FANS. I think Vidor, Lumberton Blue and Little Cypress represented the STJFL pretty well.
7. My thanks go out to a great bunch of players and coaches. No matter what happens at the State Playoff in San Antonio this Saturday, I can say that it has been one heck of a ride. I am so proud of what these guys have accomplished and more proud of the manner in which they accomplished it. I will never forget this Special Season and all that these young men have accomplished. We have taken the STJFL to a whole new level and we hope that others will choose to take it even further in the future. I would like to thank everyone involved with the STJFL for holding this great league together for all the RIGHT reasons, especially President James Kersh and we hope that you all pray for our best efforts in San Antonio this Saturday night in our quest to bring the State Championship home to Lumberton Texas and the STJFL. Sincerely, Thanks to My Coaching Staff and the "Terrible Twenty" Coach Mike, Head Coach, Lumberton Senior Blue, South Texas USA Football Champions President, Lumberton Youth Football & Cheerleading, Inc.
8. Thanks Brady, we have been blessed this year with a story book season. Our thoughts were with you guys back home also. Next year is just around the corner and everybody has the chance to re-load. Aren't we lucky to live in a country that allows us to play football... God bless America and on the 8th day, God created FOOTBALL.
9. Great Job Bears, you guys have NOTHING to drop your heads about. We were there with you watching and supporting. Good job of representing the STJFL and your Association. Never stop wanting more.
10. Great job Vidor, we were there with you and saw an awesome game. Great representation of our the STJFL and Vidor Association. Good Luck in San Antonio.
11. Well as usual there seems to be some confusion in these threads and maybe some hurt feelings. I would like to put the issue to sleep if possible. We already know that PNG Purple is a No. 2 seed. And in accordance with the seeding process, they are automatically awarded the home team sideline in their game. Although I agree with the seeding process and how it has been handled in the past, myself, my coaching staff and of course our players don’t want to take anything away from Port Neches White except a victory. For the record, Lumberton Senior Blue took a team vote tonight to allow PNG White to stand on any sideline they want. We just want to play FOOTBALL Mike Minton, Head Coach, Lumberton Senior Blue President, Lumberton Youth Football & Cheerleading
12. Its has been a great season with a lot of surprises. Im proud of the ability of coaches to make the corrections necessary to get back into the hunt. I wish everyone the very best and congratulations of making it to the playoffs. I also want to thank the leadership of the STJFL for doing what was necessary to hold this great association together. I hope those that wanted to split the STJFL have found the confidence in our leadership to see that we are only working for a greater cause in the future and have laid out the plans for that to happen. There will always be issues and problems, but with a secure leadership, all things are possible. I am speaking as a charter member of this association and I am proud to have served 14 years in the process. Lets all support all our associations as we move into the playoff rounds and most importantly, lets pray that we all come out of this with our health and pride that we started with. Good Luck to Everyone. Just for the record, I want to thank all the cheerleaders of our STJFL Association. I am the very worst of not paying attention to these great girls because I am so focused on the field, but they have done a great job this year at all of our games. THANK YOU GIRLS and good luck at the Cheerleader Competition. My best wishes are with you all. Head Coach Mike Minton Lumberton Senior Blue Rockin Raiders President, Lumberton Youth Football & Cheerleaders, Inc.
13. Just for the record, we arent a one man show. The "Beast" only ran 1 offensive play last Saturday. In addition, we had 16 different backs run the football at least once during the game which was only 3 quarters long. If you have any doubts about our speed, you haven't played us yet. Good Luck to Everyone Saturday.
14. Thanks Bearhawk, right back at you. You guys were one of the toughest teams we faced this year. Well coached, and great bunch of young men. We hope to see you again. Congratulations to all the Division II teams who eliminated all the Division I teams. We knew it all along.

16. Congratulations Bridge City Cardinals and Coaching Staff on the "Perfect Season." I can honestly say that without a doubt, you guys were top shelf this year. After all, you guys handed us 2 of our 3 losses. Coach Rick, in both losses, you guys brought it....and you brought it in a very professional way. Congrats again. Mike Minton, Head Coach, Lumberton Blue Rockin' Raiders
17. I just wanted to take this opportunity to Thank All the fantastic North Zone Pro Bowl players and coaches. You guys are the Best!!! To achieve all that you did in 3 days of practice shows not only your physical abilities, but also your mentality. You are a credit to your individual organizations. You guys ROCK!! It was a pleasure and honor to meet you, coach you, and of course win the Pro Bowl. Congrats to the South Zone also on being selected to participate in the 2010 contest. Mike Minton, Head Coach
18. WOS has a good squad. Good Luck in the playoffs. Very proud of Lumberton Blue Rockin Raiders...TCB "Taking Care of Business" Thanks to Vidor for your facilities. Everything worked out good Paul. I stayed to scout your Vidor Senior team and you turned the lights out on me....
19. wos has a good group...Proud of Lumberton Rockin Blue Raiders..."TCB" taking care of business.
20. Meaning no "disrespect", I was just looking at their schedule. Other than a pretty good Lumberton White team, the first 3 WOS opponents have a total record of 2 wins and 11 losses, and Queen Bee, nobody has ever had a problem locating you in the stands....
21. Looks like a very good weekend of football on the senior scene. A lot of playoff berths will be earned or lost this Saturday. Im picking Port Neches Purple to take out BC, Nederland teams will win, Vidor has a cakewalk. Little Cypress will hand Beaumont another loss and Lumberton Blue will take it to the overrated Stangs.
22. The Raiders are preparing for this game just like all the others. Coach Credeur is too smart to let his club look past anyone. Pick the Hardin County men by a respectful margin. Lets keep everyone safe and healthy for the district opener. See you all in Cleveland. Go Big Blue!!!
23. The scrimmages are all over. When the smoke clears Friday night, Lumberton will know a lot more about their team this year. New Caney should not be overlooked, however, if the Raiders are going to make the move this year, they should take New Caney. Injuries, as always, play a big part. Hopefully the Raiders will roll into NC with everyone on board. So, "Turn It Loose!"
24. Lumberton Youth Football & Cheerleading will hold its last regular registration for the 2007 season June 9th, at Wal-Mart in Lumberton. Times will be from 9 a.m. until.........Remember to bring copies of birth certificates and report cards.[move][/move]
