Hey all my peeps, I know there have been about 200 topics about the Newton and Kirbyville game but I want you to tell me in three words why your team will win. Please do not go over three words. They would be a top 5 4a school easily. I'm telling you this is one of the most talked about games in the state of Texas. Like I said earlier, I live in Abilene and Ciscoe is right up the road and there are people over there talking about this game. That is at least 7 hrs from Newton. It just shows you the hype leading up to this game. Go Eagles

LOL no that's not what I said grizz. Don't take it out of context and try to turn it around on me. There will be plenty of crow for everybody in Kirbyville. So if you want you can invite neighboring towns as well to come and enjoy this great event. lol Oh I can't wait

Why did they make new picks? They just made picks a couple of weeks ago. You dont change picks once you have already posted some. I'm not being a punk about it, just curious

LOL I tell you what, I will set up an all you can eat crow buffet at wildcat stadium on Sat. It will be a great charity event. I will even bring in the singing crows and they can sing your blues away. lol Go Eagles

Church is more important than the game. I tell you what sloy and grizz, I dont bet but I can almost promise you that the horns of the wildcats will blow only 3 times. Now on the Newton side, I dont know if we got that far advanced in technology but they will have cowbells!!! lol Go Eagles

I'll never forget my senior yr when the Newton and Jasper game was so big. If i'm not mistaken there was at least 3,500 people at that game. 3,500 people at Singletary Stadium is crrraaazzzy!!!! It wouldn't surprise me if 4 or 5 thousand people show up Friday night. It will be nutts!!! Go Eagles

That is so nice of you grizz. lol I can't wait till 7:30. Its almost sad that this week has to end but next week is the playoffs so it will be just as fun.

I have never in my life seen so much hype over a Newton and K Ville game. This is great. If someone was to take all the posts that have been written about this game, this would be a great book. I do have to say though all my friends that Newton is going to win this game or at least I hope. I do acknowledge that K Ville has had great success this yr and the past 4 yrs but I just have to hang with the Eagles. Our running game has been down this year but for the 1st time ever, coach Barbay has been throwing the ball more and more. Newton has lacked that in yrs past. I'm not saying we have a horrible running game because James Birch is a great back. Jacoby Ross is a legit division 1 prospect for WR. Go Eagles Newton will win 42-31

It will be so much sweeter though if he gets it against K Ville. Especially since the rival has been so long. Oh well, may the best team win. Good luck to both squads. I hope we can both take home state trophy's this yr for southeast TX. Go Eagles

I just don't get playing in Woodville. I know its a bi district game but still you would think they would play somewhere else. Is this a set in stone date and location?

I just hope that we have a very entertaining game all night. Of course with Newton winning .
