Sorry but these two teams are headed in two different directions. This was a great rivalry and as a graduate from Liberty in 84, maybe the last time we beat Dayton. Ricky Eggleston was a truly great player and glad I had the opportunity to know him. The problem here is that Liberty does not and will not have the numbers that Dayton has to choose from. Oh and Liberty will not put the money into there sports facility as did Dayton. I hate to say this but Hardin is in the process of surpassing Liberty as well.

Hardin returning starters; 8 returning on offense Hunter Davis will be returning as the #1 receiver.(injured during a scrimmage last season) 9 returning on defense They have big underclassmen at the line position. I believe it will be between Hardin and Anahuac. No disrespect to the rest of the district intended.

I know he is a great athlete, not sure he can handle the constant pounding of rushing the ball. He needs to add weight. The kid is special at the db position, he is division 1 talent there.

Really panther 89? We will see. Your #24 is a great athlete no doubt, but does he need to add some weight to withstand the pounding a full time back will take a full season? Ask Mcneil, Villemez, Craft, Raymond and the rest of the horses. Until you get a workhorse to replace Mcneil which in my opinion you do not, don't underestimate this district.

Hardin and Anahuac should be picked for the top spot. Hardin loses four staters to graduation. Their top receiver Hunter Davis will return after missing all season, plus Villemez and all the skill positions were sophomores this year. Mcneil and Villemez are definitely the top two I would say. Both have 1400 plus yards rushing, I think Villemez is more rounded because of his ability to catch the ball and throw it as well. Either way you can't go wrong.

I will say this, if these individuals are from Anahuac then they are total idiots! Have you heard of locker room material? Ask Buna, there were certain individuals really disrespecting Hardin the week of our game predicting a score of 99 to 0, well our boys really got up for them and put 53 points on them! My point is this, be careful what you say and how you say it because you could be doing more damage than good.

I assure you they(Anahuac) do not have that speed. I really believe that this individual is not from Anahuac, it is probably someone trying to get their team (kville) some added fire, which they don't need.

This game is hard to predict. Yes if Anahuac had more on the line then Anahuac big. This game has no impact whatsoever for Anahuac, if they play their key players in this game and an injury occurs then Barbay will answer why he played them. In my opinion, I believe he will not play his key players at all. Seriously who gives a hoot about a perfect district record, what really matters is having his players rested and healthy for K-ville.

What has the junior and sophomore classes done in the past? Have they won consistently since junior high? This should give you an idea of how they will fare next year. It is all about what he has to work with. Just my opinion.
