That is the bigger issue we wanted it hard, we want the coach to have to coach!!!  now we are stuck with him for 2 years.........yes hopefully he will agree to schedule them during nondistrict.

the dumbest thing I HAVE EVER SEEN Laporte NOT PLAYING Deer Park in District..........that is like Texas not playing atm ........what it has done is make Deer Park either a district winner or Runner up for 2 years. The DP coach is mediocre and he will think he is a hero, bottom line they will keep his arrogant ass around for 2 more years at least..................he wont schedule anything for non district. Sorry folks I live in DP and to be given this weak schedule / district alignment is just is a joke.  

So to get back online with this thread If I AM looking for "hitting lessons" I should get them from Ted Williams due to the extensive information provided from previous post? Ok he is not available then who? PLEASE DONT SAY BARRY BONDS I am not going to contribute to his drug problem!

I did not even read all of what you said Baseball boy but I can say that cheaters never win. Bonds Cheated if he was so great coming in why use steroids? why does he need that edge? He was not above baseball! Ted Williams had no competitions, like you said he still had to swing the bat(curveball, fastball, slider) he still had to run and look .400 avg now that guy is a HOF. BONDS WILL BE LIKE ROSE WOULDA , COULDA , SHOULDA and Ilike Rose. What else you got?

SOMETHING TO CONSIDER: Many of the programs Texas and some LA. are still up to their elbows in their own programs speaking of last exposure tournament. The best times are of course the end of October November first few weekends. I know other tournaments are during this time etc....Remember this is also the time most select teams travel to those particular Universities for Round Robins on their Campuses. With out a doubt the players have to contact all the surounding area coaches and when you are dealing with this type of Regional exposure tournament so all the kids should be requesting most of the same schools.

In California where you all may have heard there is a out of control fire as reported they are 2 HOURS behind us and OU still sucks, but they did mention if OU could suck harder the flames might go out.

i guess it seems everyone is looking ahead for this season or some future season, since no one has had a best season yet. Your day will come, if your a parent don't be so critical that may the best she can give.Good luck and congratulation

Hard to decide softball has played many positive and memorable times for me. Mine would have to be 8u we took a bunch of 7yo to Abilene and won the ASA Pixie North State Championship then to Moss Bluff in a "slow" pitch tournament not sure the place but not top 3 just a great group of kids and parents team name was TuffStuff

i do know of 2 teams he actually called and nicely asked if they would change their name, neither did.

Partly cloudy, no they went with storm elite in case you hadn't heard. Storm is not available someone in houston thinks he "patent" that name and you should pay a franchise fee for using it.

I feel sorry for those that felt I was rambling and looking back it could be confused as rambling. he is saying, the one with the license plate name, that noone wants to do what Intensity did = thats a lie everyone wants to. Are you kidding, Win = yes you do! The problem is because of parents ego's it wont happen! The stronger the talent on any high school team the more obvious reason it wont happen. Intensity knew they had talent but never realized the amount of talent until they faced some of the "better known" organizations. That just did not sit well with those "local" organization. Then some started making comments (not everyone, you know who you are) and excuses for the failure of their team and the possible reason for success of the Intensity. Which only pi$$ed off those neighsayers even more. This is mostly my Opinion so if you got offended sorry - if you did not understand good luck Junior high may be more challenging than last year. Oh don't give me the "this aint my first rodeo" I got it . As we all know every rodeo has a clown!

You could not do it! Noone would do the same and have the same results. IT IS BECAUSE THEY CANT! Better known as EGO. Mommy says I am better than you, Dad says you have no movement on your pitches like me YOU CAN;T DO IT. MY Daughters select team has a better chance because I can influence that coach or I am the assistant coach and would do things sooooo much different than the high school coach. You can come together brag about your kid and her team during high school ball and then hope to avoid them all summer or play them 20 times and beat them everytime because of the "varying skill level" as you put it Hillguy

We GT Shockers Gold are a Gold team and play in the exposure tournaments and Gold Qualifiers = ok? . WE qualified for ASA Gold Nationals last year = ok? not sure what angle you were going with this (please dont explain)......... They (Intensity) were the best team there and yes things do change from week to week but when it counted in the IFA National Tournament they are National Champions and will be for an entire year until someone else is crowned next year. I don't want to hear how many times prior to that tournament everyone beat them etc.... What matters is that tournament!

I certainly agree with sports reporters comments there is no positive reason to move 14u to 43ft. My opinion is if they are playing jv or varsity AGAINST 16-18 YO as a 14u eligible player they should be playing 16u at least. Obama the silent killer with "Change" in one hand and Binoculars in the other looking to be the "Big Brother" on Capitol Hill to have his hand in everyones business ......even softball
