  1. My opinion mirrors Adminbaberuth in the sense that Harrington is still probably the best overall pitcher in his district slightly, yet not by far head & shoulder's above the rest. I can think of several pitchers that can go toe to toe with him easily in this district. Robicheau (VIDOR) Hester (VIDOR) Sims (VIDOR) Todd (PNG) Sampere(Nederland) Lott (OZEN) Gardiner (OZEN) Brown (LCM) And this is just to name a few, and especially when you have guys like Hester, Gardiner, Robicheau, & Todd who can mix it up very well just like Harrington.
  2. Pitching: Lott - Ozen (Great Pitcher, could go along way with some good instruction) Harrington - PNG (Very Dominating) Todd - PNG ( Haven't had alot of exposure, but is definetly a rising star.) Sampere - Nederland - ( Like his style - great kid as well) Robicheau - Vidor (Haven't seen alot of his pitching, but liked the little that I have) Shortstops: Gardiner-Ozen /Bunner- Vidor - Best (2) shortstops in this district!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (22 4A) They are very exciting to watch. They are both VERY solid and incredibly smooth. Gardiner is also a great hitter and can play anywhere on the field including helping Lott out with the pitching for the Panthers. Very, very impressive. I can go on and on about these two kids. Can't remember the Shortstop for LCM name, but he was pretty impressive to me as well. Catchers: Carnahan (PNG)- Like his game, Solid catcher (Probably the best in this district) Fowler (Ozen)- Impressing me more and more each game
  3. I don't Mitchell Todd is so much as underrated, he just has not had the exposure over the last few years playing at the Varsity level. But, he is quickly gaining the respect that he so much deserve as an elite baseball player, and can easily play at the next level.
  4. Poor Ozen! They can't even enjoy their moment. I thought this thread was suppose to be about the Panther's big win?, and not PNG & Vidor Fans issues with one another! Great Job Panther's, and hat's off to the Varsity baseball team at Vidor. Both teams played very well, and no team was taken for granted. Both teams brought thier A games, and Ozen left the winner's with clutch hits and game saving plays. Was just a great game to watch for a change. Both teams had great pitching, very solid infield defensive, and both teams hit the ball well. Vidor and Ozen fans were great and showed alot class and support to the players. Good luck to both teams in their games on next Tuesday, and high hopes that the Panther's continue to play great baseball collectively the rest of the season.
  5. Ozen still has three other pitchers that may not be as dominate as Lott, but can still keep a game close, or even take the win. So therefore, I don't see Vidor winning by 8 runs if Lott does not pitch, but you never know in this district.
  6. LCM does have great hitters, but I agree that their field is Homerun friendly.
  7. ABOSOLUTELY !!!!!!! Always think of those two as Best Pitchers. But yeah, definetley a part of that Best Defensive Player group as well.
  8. OZEN PANTHERS Jimmy Johnson - Leading the Panther's HR's with (4) Albert Lott - Next in line with (3) Gardiner- Hit his 2nd HR last night against LCM Center Field over the flag pole. Raggett - Also has (2) HR's Ryan Taylor - With(2) as well
  9. OZEN PANTHERS: Chris Raggett- 2 Josh Gardiner- 2 Albert Lott - 3 Ryan Taylor - 2 Jimmy Johnson- 4
  10. Thad Lycan - West Brook Todd Wallace - West Brook Matt Hicks - Bridge City Casey Jackson - Bridge City Ryan Sampere - Nederland Jordan Pitts - Nederland Josh Gardiner - Ozen Chris Raggett - Ozen V.J. Bunner - Vidor Taylor Robicheaux - Vidor
