Any new updates on games/scores?

Let me tell you something "lazeek" or whatever your name is...I understand this is a discussion board where everyone is free to voice their own opinion...so here is mine. You should be ashamed of yourself for acting like this about a team from your own area. Not saying you have to like the dawgs but I would think being such a " mod" & all that especially you would have some respect for these kids & their families who just ended their season. These boys, some of which will never play ball again, worked for this season with all their hearts...they are good kids...at least show a little respect for them instead of your "finish them off" & smart elec comments for days. I just figured you being a "mod" & all that you might have a little more class than just us regular old fans who love our players...win or lose. The dawgs were 1 of 4 teams left in the state & the only 3a team from east Texas. We are very proud of you Dawgs, you had a great season & you have shown lots of class. You "mod" have shown everyone that you have none.  We are proud of you dawgs! Goodluck in all you do & to all the seniors...thanks ! 

GO DAWGS !!! you went on quietly about your business this season working hard & believing in 261 ! no matter what anyone, polls, etc...said, you never gave up So proud !  GO DAWGS !

Jasper wins over Rusk 10-0.  Sowell had a no hitter till the 6th inning Dawgs now 4-0 in District play

also Sam Alvis hit a walk off home run

Jasper played Vidor & Buna...Silsbee & Buna played in between those games...(Jasper played silsbee on Thurs) Buna & Jasper game ended about 11:45... Dawgs now 5-0

by the way, Jasper beat those two teams every time they met this year, check your facts & with some of the hard injuries they have had this year, i'm suprised you would talk about a team overcoming those things...they are good kids who have fought hard, find someone else to talk about

WOW...whats your problem... good program, good coaches, good kids that love the game, some tough injuries this year, & they are still fighting & made the playoffs....Again, whats your problem...Bad day or just a chip on your shoulder

Wow...i just found this post on 3a.com...apparently there is enough cockiness from these guys to spread out everywhere....Here is their post.... ( We lucked out BIG TIME! There's no way we should hang with the traditionally strong types of Carthage and Jasper. Corn, cotton, cows, and Copenhagen..... Just a litttle old farming town. Nothing to fear. That probably is the case, sad to say. I WONDER WHY HIS ARM IS HURTING. MAYBE BECAUSE THE COACH HAS HIM THROW ALMOST NOTHING BUT CURVEBALLS. I SEEN THIS IN THE B.C. GAME. EVEN DURING THAT GAME PEOPLE WERE SAYING THAT HIS ARM WAS HURTING THEN. I FEEL SORRY FOR THE KID. I HOPE HIS ARM ISNT SHOT. Please don't comment if you don't know what your talking about...your not the coach or the player so you dont know whats going on...thats a pretty wide open comment....probably best not to talk if you don't know the situation...if everyone listened to what "people" were saying about jasper then they were suppossed to be home a long time ago...go get em dawgs...good luck on saturday!

No we do not have to be BC, although i think we will. Our remaining schedule is BC and OF. OF friday and BC Tuesday. If we win Friday we clinch that second spot. Not gonna happen BC goes undefeated HJ takes second and Slsbee will take third because they will beat Jasper Friday....... Leaving the Defending State Champs at home........ Yes, Jasper is not playing to the best of their ability...they have got to get it together or they will not go to the playoffs...they are going through a rough spell but they earned their state title through hard work from last years team...they did lose 7 seniors & let me say....i hope someone doesn't keep kicking you while your down the next time bridge city messes up...I don't remember Jasper being tacky after they beat bridge city last year 4 out of 5 times...that was last year, leave it there...every year is a new & different team... Jasper is aware that they are the defending state champs & proud of it...& as angry as that makes you, that was last year & there is no reason to keep bringing it up.... bridge city,hj & silsbee are all good teams, & whatever happens, happens...but jasper earned last years title - they earned it through hard work..so quite throwing it up in their face or the same just might happen to you oneday... BC lost 9 seniors from last year and they still keep ticking..........And if BC messes up kick me all you want won't bother me one bit....My post was based on the teams this year not last year.. as you said every year is a new team.....So don't think you proved anything because you didn't..... Then don't "criticize a coach"....he is anything but irresponsible.... He knows what he is doing & would never put a kid in jeopardy....he is a great coach and knows more about his players than we do...

not really respectful when your kids ran the bases after last years game and SLID AT EVERY BAG WHILE WE WERE TRYING TO RAKE AND CLEAN THE FIELD. but this stuff is between the fans and students, not the players, so i dont really see it as a big deal. the players love having passionate students and fans fighting for who can be the loudest and stuff, but when you come onto our field, thats a little much. and i dont think anyone hurt anyone from jasper on purpose Typical response from another classy fan

another great game....Jasper did a great job & so did bridge city...some terrible calls by the umpire...another thing...as soon as the game was over those bridge city kids came over to Jasper's side & acted terrible....Granted Jasper fans can be a little much sometimes but this crossed over the line...those kids came & ran through our bleachers....screaming & yelling in peoples faces...parents, boys, girls...one girl got hit in the face & a little girl got knocked down by some of the guys...I understand they were excited & congrats on the win, we know it was a very close game...but there is a line & it was crossed tonight....i hope they realize what they did because all they are doing is representing the school & the team & making them look bad....i mean to hit a girl in the face & push down little kids...come on...a little more class by the bc fans....good game by both....

You know...Bridge City is a good team...so is Jasper....They are both good teams & this will be a good game, we all know that...But I just want to make an observation... Most of the trash talking on here about hitting them in their grill, & payback & on & on....this is the same kind of talk that went on all season last year....all season...& what really mattered was decided on the field....those boys earned it.... they are both great teams & you can guarantee that everytime they play it will be a great game...but there are some really good kids that work their tail off every game & putting them down in one way or another is not necessary... support your team all the way....but their is no sense & putting down kids that work hard & love the game just because they wear a different jersey than you do...
