If you are traveling from the Beaumont area.....I-10 west, to Beltway 8, take a right onto Beltway 8 heading North. Beltway 8 will lead you due North for awhile and then will have a 90 degree bend to the West. At this point you will pass Fall Creek neighborhood, Wilson Road, etc. At this point stay in the right lanes( As you near 59, left lanes will keep you on Beltway 8, right will lead you to 59). Take right onto 59 North. Travel North past 1960 and Kingwood. Exit Community Drive and go back over 59. Head south on feeder. You will see the facility on the right about a mile down. Also there are some signs showing the way to the stadium. Don Ford stadium. It is on the West side of 59. Thanks. Should be a stellar matchup tonight.

I'm assuming it's along Forest Colony Rd. on the west side of 59. I've been trying to contact the school district so Channel 6 can cover this series and the other series at the stadium this week. If anyone knows for sure, let me know. NCISD is not responding very well, and nobody at the high school knows what the address is at this point.

It's not a joke. Our KFDM photographer just came back saying Central was leading. Looks like LC-M has tied it up since then. I'm going to drive by there on my way home right now.

I want to stir up this conversation just because I feel Ozen hits the ball well... I know they have little pitching, but doesn't anyone think Ozen could jump Nederland and Vidor by the end of the season and move into the third sport in 22-4A? I'm for sure not counting them out. They proved they are 11 times better than Central tonight, and they are possibly on their best night in the same category as Vidor after seeing them fall off from last Tuesday? Anybody have a response to this post? I've only seen Ozen once this year for about three innings, but they chop!

Hightlights from this game on KFDM.com. KFDM left the game in the 5th inning. Vidor couldn't get anything going. Dallas Brown looked great working the plate. Robi made a couple of good jam pitches, but the defense did not help him out tonight. Great crowd on hand once again. LCM represented tonight and Vidor continued support after Friday's loss. I was the Channel 6 photographer who stayed for the game. I love the comments by Sticky... "my, my, my"... that's about all I can say as well. Even though all 10PM sports casts pointed out the bang bang - foot off the bag - appeal play at first, that was not the game itself. Reviewing all of these comments, one PNG supporter, parent, die hard said it best... runners left in scoring position, a dropped fly ball in left, what looked to me like a high breaking pitch followed up by a "ive got to get ahead of this batter" fastball in the 9th was the reason Vidor came back. I edited the video in the link below. It's something I look forward to doing probably every Tuesday from here on out, and maybe on a few Fridays as well. The video, as well I could, depicts the great pitching efforts on both sides, and clutch performances by the TEAMS. [Hidden Content] - - (enjoy the video, 7mins 30secs) I'll end by saying I can't wait for the game at PN-G. I hope both starters will get to faceoff once again.
