Cayuga has 10 players listed on the uil website from last years team that could return this year.  5 that were freshmen, 1 sophomore, and 4 juniors.  Not sure how many playedmuch of a part on the team last year. As Favre throws a game ending pick 6.

Does Cayuga have much of a team returning this year?  If so, depending on what else is going on that night,  I may have to go watch HJ and Cayuga.

In basketballs case, if things happen like they have in the past and H-J and Silsbee split and ended up tied for first, it would prevent the two from having to play two games back to back at the end of the year. It would spread out the 4 possible games.

No I wasn't talking about the order the locations. We play the same teams atb home and away with WOS being the only exception.

Definately I already found it interesting that the football schedule was the same as last year as far as home and away, with one exception, WOS.

Yeah it just seens they would want that matchup last.

That makes sense. These polls don't really mean a whole lot anyway. It is great to get recognised.  You would think with the Tigers record the last several years they would get a little more repect statewide though.

Thanks for the post.  I made the statement on the other site so I will make it here.  Their logic is hard to understand,  they have    H-J ranked higher than Silsbee, yet they have the Tigers picked as the district favorite?????

I wasn't trying to compare the speed of WOS to Silsbee. You would have thought however that the Tigers had enough speed to keep OF in check. Speed was not enough to do it. Now do I think WOS defense will handle the OF offense better. Heck yeah, the Tigers can't stop anyones rushing game this year. 

The officials were horrible for both sides on some calls that were or could have been very costly.

I think it is being played today.

Those two injuries could be huge for the BC defense against the Tiger recievers. Its the Tiger D that is a concern.

Speed won't keep OF from running. Ask the Tigers about that one. However there is no doubt in my mind at this poin that the Mustangs defense is playing way better than the Tigers. I look for this game to be an comfortable win for the mustangs but not near the blowout you are predicting.

After hearing about this, I can understand the score. WOS had to work on their offense with a new QB and did so while making major substitutions it sounds like plus the last 17 points came understandibly, from these accounts. The Mustangs had to get back on a winning feeling after it hadn't really been there the last 3 weeks.

That's the big question can the Tigers finally stop the run. If not we will have to have no turnovers because it will be another shootout. Right now BC has to be the favorite.

The Tigers defense was definately on the field too much and wrapping up is an issue both on D and special teams. However our problems stopping the run go deeper than just that. Size on the line is an issue. Last night an issue was seemed to be figuring out just who had the ball. Misdirection hurt the Tigers big time.
