[/quote] according to the stats Silsbee had 5 turnovers to BC's 2.  One of BC's turnovers came with 49 seconds left in the game That one was totally unneccesary.  They should have been kneeling the ball and ending the game.  I said BC outplayed us but the part of that that was the difference was the turnovers. Through the course of the game, minus the last minute, you got 4 more turnovers than we did ending 4 more Tiger drives than BC drives ended with TOs.

A huge part of not being able to get that one yard comes from not being able to take a snap under center cleanly.

Good game and good win by BC.  A few points, I would like to make.  First I was pleased to see the Tiger defense play better against the run.  However our secondary didn't hold up its end.  On one of the BC long pass TDs,  I was watching the matchup where the ball was thrown.  Not sure if we were running a zone defense,  but you could see the db just slow down and the receiver kept running full speed to be wide open.  Looked like the db decided to rest that play.  Another thing , we need to be able to run a play from under center without the snap being dropped! It looked to me like every time we were under center the ball hit the ground.  If the qb can't handle that snap let Rhone or Lane do it.  We should not have to try to run  on 4th and less than one from the gun. And when you are down in the fourth quarter, been running the ball well, why would you run an end around pass?  I was impressed tonight with a couple play calls but this one baffled me.  The Tigers definately have to cut down on the turnovers.  And from the BC side, why with 1:22 left, the Tigers with only one timeout and a first down, would you be running plays,instead of kneeling down to end the game.  The Tigers should not have had that last chance drive,  you never give a big play team a chance at the end.  It was a great night, great cool football weather unfortunately the Tigers came up short.  We will have to get our pay back in the gym!

Wow tough to hear.  I lost my grandmother to a stroke earlier this year.  My thoughts and prayers go out to the Henry family.

I wasn't there but probably the best one I would have liked to see was Tyler John Tyler, I believe, not sure who they were playing. A playoff game I am pretty sure. I remember hearing about it on the radio. They were trailing by 2 or 3 scores late. Scored and recovered after each one to take lead. Last part I am not sure I remember right but I thought they kicked the last one off and it was returned for a TD.

Tough question numerous good ones: two that come to mind the 2004 Silsbee-Jasper game and last years playoff loss to Navasota.  Thats just the ones that come to mind,  lots of other good ones.  Oh wait last years win over WOS was pretty good too.  8) haha

I don't think it was WOS running up the score.  I think his point is the team with the knowledge ran up the score.

then how did that result in turning a close game to a 20 point game? Sorry desperation, to me  comes from being at least a couple scores down with little time left.  If you are close(1 score) then the desperation should only come on your last possesion.
