  1. If Shane Deel does have football and girls soccer under his belt, i guess Liberty got what they wanted... a coach that knows more than just football. Like Liberty would come up with money for another girls sport, lol. The girls will always be second (or 3rd or even forth) to the football players. I wish him the very best of luck! Irregardless of all the negative that any of us have spoken, we as a community need to support the new AD. Let us give him a fair chance! Let's be positive! As well, we need to support all the kids in all sports! That is after we support the kids academically!
  2. Did i hear that super wanted to have a committee to help with the interviews and the board wanted to do it on their own? So, there are 4 interviews this week.... 2 are 2nd interviews and the other 2 didn't have a 1st interview yet? What a tangled web we weave as we practice to deceive.
  3. This is from the radiogram KSHN Volume 23 NO. 39 THURSDAY FEBRUARY 28TH, 2008 **************************************************** LISD Coach Interviews: Four apparent finalists to be the next Liberty High School Athletic Director and Head Football Coach will be interviewed next week. Superintendent Mona Chadwick said the interviews will be Tuesday and Wednesday in closed-door session. Once this round of interviews is over, trustees hope to enter into negotiations with their leading candidate for the job.
  4. Well I personally am not surprised by Liberty I.S.D. Once again it shows... it isn't WHAT you know, it is WHO you Brown Nose! This town will never change! Chad Taylor, I know you will do a GREAT job no matter where you go!
  5. PantherPlaya09, sounds like you must be a hometown guy that didn't even make it into the cut at all. Evidently you do not know either one of these men, because they both have more class than you and your rude comment! As well, you need to learn how to use spell check! well...would you like to know the truth CEO? I think, with all your time with your nose in the dictionary, you should look up the word sarcasim, or maybe joke. Im a 17 year old trying to make light of the situation. I really dont have anything to say about Taylor or Douglas because........ 1. I dont know them. 2. I like the coach we have. 3. Gossiping about it will have zero effect on the outcome. p.s. we should have a system on setx. A system that doesnt let people with 6 posts try to shut me down. Nice try but no cigar CEO. next............. I am sorry that your favorite coach is leaving, but that wasn't his choice nor is it any of the coaches that are applying for the job... The Board did not see fit to renew Stewart's contract. No matter who takes over as the AD I hope that you can at least show him the respect do him, especially if you plan to participate in the athletic program next year. If not, you might have a really long year on the bench. (oh and that was not meant to shut you down since this is only my 7Th post)
  6. Only 5 pep rallies? That ought to really keep the spirit going! That is CRAZY! Hardin did that until they got a new GREAT coach. A coach that has the kids best interest at heart. Liberty? What is everyone thinking? If anything, add more pep rallies.... baseball, basketball, softball, volley ball, etc. All the kids deserve the support of the student body, teachers and the community!
  7. PantherPlaya09, sounds like you must be a hometown guy that didn't even make it into the cut at all. Evidently you do not know either one of these men, because they both have more class than you and your rude comment! As well, you need to learn how to use spell check!
  8. I have nothing against sattler. Sorry, I spoke what I heard, not something I knew. I just think Liberty needs the best man for the job no matter who it is. But anyone who is involved with Liberty knows it has always been about the boys! Something has to change! Best of luck men!
  9. Sahen might have something there.... cause i do know one other person and it is Sattler that is coaching in Liberty now. So that makes it two hometown guys, one from Dayton and a present coach. Douglas was a great player when he was in school but what experience does he really have in coaching? A little while at Ozan and he left. Sattler's first job was Liberty. He has coached football and baseball (boys only) in Liberty for 4 years. Taylor has coached at least 10 years. He has coached football, for the guys. He has coached powerlifting for both guys and girls. He has coached girls softball. Maybe even track, I'm not sure. As for the Dayton guy I have no clue. Let's look at what is needed for the whole district. Back from a previous comment it was stated that..... " Liberty needs someone with experience in all sports both men and women." "I am a Liberty supporter and am glad that it appears some strong candidates have surfaced for this job – but instead on concentrating on wins I hope that the new AD looks at the entire school from Jr. High to High School and demands that the program and athletes be respectable on and OFF THE FIELD." Not to say that these are the only guys being considered, cause with Liberty who really knows, but there should be 2 out of the running just in lack of experience.
  10. I don't understand what the hold up is in picking the AD. I know they want to pick the right person and we want them to get the right person too but come on. Leave it to Liberty to hurt themselves!
  11. The Liberty hometown boy in Jacksonville is Chad Taylor. He was the QB his Sr. year. From what i hear, he has also coached girls softball and powerlifting, not to mention OC and DC.
